OMG!!! Where has this women been? Is this the secound comming of Sarah Plain! Thank God for Paula! McCollum is too blaaaaa and is an establishment guy! us republicans were worried that McCullum was going to be the only candidate. My vote now is with Dockery!
Finally a candidate with with a full tank of gas! Mccollum seems tired, maybe he needs to step aside.
I feel that Dockery can match up better against Sink. I have heard the Attorney General speak before, pretty lethargic. No offense to him, I like him, just I don’t think he can beat sink.

Hooray, I was going to have to vote for Alex Sink and I just hate to vote for a demcrat in today’s political landscape. But………. a vote for McCollum feels an awful lot like a vote for McCain felt. We need someone with some brains AND chutzpah (that’s cahones for the people in Rio Linda), and it looks like Paula may just fit the bill. Hooray.

MIAMI 912 VETTING QUESTIONS
1. What is the purpose of government?
2. What kind of adherence should the Constitution be given, none, sometimes, or always?
3. What should be done with laws and programs that are not in accordance with the Constitution?
4. Are residents of our state free to engage in any business they choose? Is operating any local business for profit a privilege, for which a citizen should apply for a permit, paying a fee or tax?
5. Can a tax rate be so high that it’s not acceptable? If so, name a tax rate so high that citizens would be under no moral obligation to pay it?
6. Should residents of this state have a right to carry handguns openly or concealed without applying for or receiving a “permit”? Why or why not?
7. Whose powers are limited by the 10th Amendment? Can you think of any ways to improve enforcement of the 10th Amendment?
8. Can you name a current tax that you would repeal? A fee?
9. Should someone who has sworn an oath to protect the Constitution, but who then votes to allocate tax funds to programs or departments not authorized by that Constitution, be punished? If not, why not?
10. According to the Constitution, which branch of government has the sole power to declare war? Do you commit to a strict adherence to the rule of law and the Constitution in regards to any potential declaration of any war?
11. Do you support a Declaration of State Sovereignty for Florida?
12. Alaska has adopted a revenue policy concerning development of natural resources while protecting the environment. Will you support such a policy for Florida?
13. What action do you propose to address the problems of illegal aliens and what policies do you see might be an acceptable remedy to reduce illegal immigration?
14. What answer can you give to conservatives who see the administration’s stimulus plan as a method to destroy the capitalist economic system and replace it with central planning and redistribution of wealth? Are we wrong?

I really like Paula Dockery and will be voting for her, but please people do not compare her to Palin. Believe it or not comparing her with Palin will cost her votes…..
I was impressed with the interview responses, but think the questions might have been on the light side. If we’re going to take this seriously, we need to let people know that this is not a frothy, fluff-brained candidate. She’s aware, savvy, & willing to ask some hard questions. Deal with some tough issues. I’m very pleased to vote for her as well as work to get her elected.
