Roger Stone Interview: Stone Rocks the GOP Establishment

December 22, 2009

roger stoneOn a brisk, sunny afternoon in Fort Lauderdale, I met up with my pal Roger Stone for yet another hard-hitting and wide-ranging interview. The setting was The Capital Grille, an appropriate venue for reasons that will be disclosed within the interview. If you’re not familiar with Roger, he is a long time political strategist/operative who has worked with key politicos such as former Presidents Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon.

Always entertaining and never one to pull punches, Roger gives us his take on everything from the Florida GOP to next year’s US Senate race here in Florida- a contest that I believe is the most important race of year. Off the record, Roger also commented about the flawless white leather loafers that I was sporting that day. Suffice to say, Roger does not like my white loafers, but no one can be right all the time- not even Roger.

The interview is just under 20 minutes long, in two parts:

You should have been listening to Marco Rubio yesterday morning LIVE on “The Captain’s AMERICA” radio show when he made a BOMBSHELL statement about Florida State sovereignty and using our own Oil in the Gulf of Mexico and producing the finished product with our own Refinery here in the State of Florida!

  3. Dee says:

Well I only watched the first few minutes cuz both my computer and I have ADHD. Both of us short out, But I saw enough to make me choke on my chocolate chips the ones I’m eating straight out of the bag, instead of baking cookies I just eat the chips as I don’t like wasting any time, I get right to the good stuff. Sort of Like Javiar did in this interview. LOL.. I got your new nickname Javiar, I’m calling you the Bomb.. You can call me chip brown or chip brown.. For the one I carry on my shoulders and the ones I eat straight out the bag.. LOL.

    Excellent Javier!

Charlie must go negative? Charlie has always demonstrated in the heat of a campaign that he will rise above that. The media is Charlie’s attack machine, and his defense machine. Interviews such as this in the new media, if widely distributed, will continue to give Marco the edge.

The dinosaur media has lost its teeth. A high unemployment rate is a vicious dentist.

Stone is right about McCollum. He is more than just boring. McCollum can be easily tied to the bad economy, just because it has happened on his watch. Dockery has the benefit of the “throw the bums out” tide.

This is a fantastic commentary…! Concise on all points from Jim Greer (who needs to go and benefit the Republicans) and the Indian Compact. Go Roger!

  9. Funny thing, I stayed at the Homewood Suites off 36th and the Palmetto the other night (in between moves) and it is smack in front of his favorite hunting ground, Miami Velvet!!!

    Great job Javier!
