what part of “ILLEGAL” are you not getting? Sounds like another attempt to make ammnesty available for them….NO WAY!! We only want LEGAL aliens and immigrants. I saw a great sign the other day, which said, “We don’t call them “illegal aliens” anymore, we call them “future democratic voters”.

I think the Governor is running scared and is doing everything and saying everything to win this race.

The Federal Government is well aware that 49% of the voting populace is either on the government payroll or is receiving government aid/welfare. When this percentage hits 51%, then every freedom loving American is doomed. This nation was founded as a Republic in order to preserve our Freedom. The word Democracy is not found in the Constitution. Democracy is another form of government propaganda. This article is a prime example of how our government violates our Freedom.
Why on earth are we arresting people when they break into a home that is not theirs? Heck, we are going to start rewarding people for BREAKING INTO OUR COUNTRY IF WE DON’T STOP IT NOW! COUNTING THEM IN THE CENSUS IS DEFINITELY THE START OF THE BEGINING OF THE END.

I believe we SHOULD count the illegals, BUT EXCLUDE THEM AS PART OF ANY BASIS FOR RE-DISTRICTING OR FUNDING. We should WIDELY DISTRIBUTE THE NUMBER OF ILLEGAL’S IN EACH JURISDICTION so those who do pay taxes can see how the political incumbents and the lame employed-for-life government bureaucrats are wasting our tax dollars

I don’t think that you understand what is happening here. This is the ground work for Amnesty! The arguement will be made that If they are counted, then they should be able to vote and become citizens.
I think we should count them, but not as Floridian’s or for the sake of adding or adjusting Congressional seats. Federal Funding can then be used by Homeland Security or ICE to round them up into paddy wagons and then transport them back to country of origin. Why should Floridian’s be penalized for the cost and welfare of “Illigal” persons who are not lawfully abiding in our state. At least the Federal Government will know where they need to spend Federal money to clean up for their failure to enforce immigration laws in the past.
The next step is AMNESTY. We should NOT count them. This could swing my vote to Marco Rubio.What is he thinking or better yet where are his brains.
Rudio is lying on his amnesty.Why did he sit on the bill stopping it from coming to a vote 7 times.You’ll neeed to report his votes,lack of votes and his behavior not his words in an election campeign.
Just a guess but Crist looks a lot like Specter these days…. I think it won’t be long before Charlie turns Dem. This illegal alien stand is just one of the many Dem positions he’s adopted over the years. Others were the voting rights for felons, controlling and/or socializing the insurance industry, pushing the globull warming hoax, and the Porkulus Bill, etc; he’s also appointed a lot of Dems as governor. Crist is the epitome of the professional politician –no principles other than getting elected to something, anything.

‘Rubio’ is not lying. You are referring to the 6 bills that did not make it out of commitee. By not making it out of committee, they could not be voted upon. Rubio never voted on any illegal immigration bills.
Yes, while the census takers are going door to door, and getting paid to do so, why not deputize them so they can arrest those who are not legal citizens, and the law enforcement can pick them up and deliver them to busses to take them wherever they ARE citizens…..why is it, some just do not understand by virtue of being here illegally, they ARE CRIMINALS!!

Oh Charlie, you are wrong again. I believe you are a democrat in republican clothing for sure. Look up “Operation Wetback” and see how ILLEGAL immigrants were handled under two prior administrations. Hoover and Eisenhower rounded them all up, took several years, and transported them all back on train to the center of Mexico (their home). Bam, it was done. They didn’t count them, they deported them. The ILLEGAL aliens are draining our economy, our resources, our schools and hospitals, our WELFARE and medicaid and you want to count them. I will not vote for you for any government office. I had enough.

Count all illegals, but only in order to get an accurate count for the number of buses, boats and planes needed for deportation.

That’s insane. If people who enter this country illegally are counted in the census and subsequently allowed to vote, it gives incentive to anyone who wants to influence our politics to hop on the next boat or plane and enter this country. Mexicans who come here to work are not nearly as alarming as terrorists and those of questionable ideologies slipping in to help further an anti-American agenda.
We can’t trade polititions the way we trade pro football teams but we can vote them out. Good bye Charlie.

Census according to the Constitution is about representation. Since we are all Americans and slavery no longer exists we are all a whole person. Therefore the only boxes needed to be filled out is number of persons living at this residence, names of individuals living there, and gender. None of the other categories are necessary. Funding is not a part of the census. That’s left up to crooked politicians and back room deals.
