Gay Republican club supports Charlie Crist for Senate

February 28, 2010

After Saturday’s Christan Family Coalition breakfast, Governor Charlie Crist made his way up to the ‘Crist for Senate’ grassroots meeting being held at the popular wings eatery, Wings Plus, an event sponsored by the Broward Gay Republican club, Sunshine Republicans.

Broward GOP Chairman Chip LaMarca told me that 125-150 people were in attendance to see Governor Crist and support his campaign.  Sunshine club officials later informed me that they garnered 364 sign-in signatures at the event.  Running yesterday’s Sunshine Republican lewis cristsponsored meeting was none other than Broward GOP Secretary Michael DeGruccio.  The Crist for Senate campaign is formally represented in Broward and Palm Beach counties by its Field Director and Broward GOP Membership Chairwoman, Anna Alexopoulus. Also in attendance was Broward GOP political consultant Richard DeNapoli.  DeNapoli was a busy little bee by first making an appearance at the FFC breakfast, and he drove quite a ways to be in attendance at the grassroots event.  This is outstanding dedication on DeNapoli’s part.

For those of you that have asked me if I thought there was a conflict with Alexopoulus being both a paid staffer of the Crist campaign and theNick county party’s membership chair, and DeGruccio being the Secretary, I don’t know what to tell you. I have been told by the Chairman that there isn’t a conflict of interest because the membership position is an appointed position-appointed by the Chairman himself.

Moving on, the Sunshine Republicans is a club that branched off from the local Log Cabin Republicans and is headed by Dr. Ben Lewis, Ph.D.  The Vice President of the group is Nick Stone, and the Treasurer is Dr. Ronald Bullard, M.D. The group has told me a couple of times that they are not endorsing Governor Crist in the Senate race, yet I had to ask myself- what is the definition of an endorsement?

When visiting the clubs website www.sunshinerepublicans.org the button ‘our candidates’, the club openly promotes 3 Republican candidates, one being Governor Crist.  Couple that with yesterday’s sponsoring of the Crist for Senate grassroots meeting, and the club distributing Charlie Crist bumper stickers at their last meeting, I think the case is clearly made as to who the club is effectively backing in the senate race.

All three of the Directors of the Sunshine Republicans have personally and publically expressed their unwavering support for Governor Crist.  Ben Lewis has been one of Rubio’s most outspoken critics, and he has cheer leaded for Crist for quite some time.  In a recent Facebook post, Lewis stated,” Awesome meeting today with Florida Governor and Future U.S. Senator Charlie Crist.  An awesome man with true vision.”

Vice President Nick Stone has also come out for Crist in his own unique way.  Stone (no relation to Roger Stone) blogs on a little known and obscure blog named Drawnlines. If you were to visit this blog, you will see Stone’s ‘full frontal’ endorsement of Governor Charlie Crist and obvious bashing of Marco Rubio.

Dr. Bullard is the quietest of the three, at least that’s how he comes across to me. He mostly measures his support and gets off the subject.  Correct me if I am wrong Ron, just calling it like I see it.

One thing to note about the Sunshine Republicans, they are a Conservative Republican club that believes in fiscal restraint, defending the Constitution, fighting global extremism and repealing the military’s don’t ask don’t tell policy.

As a Christan and as a Republican… I must say I’m very upset with Charlie Crist! He just lost my vote!

  2. Danita says:

Javier: Once again, our thoughts crossed in email. So sorry you and Patrick missed last night’s TEA PARTY FORT LAUDERDALE’S one-year anniversary. It was great fun and we missed you! I put out all your CRA stuff, though, on our table.

Your articles and blogs get better every day. Roll on, baby.

    Your friend,

    Danita

  3. @Danita
I was stuck in Miami all day and didn’t get home until 6pm!
    Sorry.

  4. We always knew this about Crist. says:

Repeal dont ask dont tell??!! How can that be a conservative club?? Plus this group I heard wants gay adoptions to be law! Sounds like a perfect club for Crarlie Crist.

  5. Jonathan says:

As Libertarian-minded Republican, This would be a big mistake. Charlie Crist is social conservatives and financial liberal.

  6. Geo says:

Why would one’s sexual preference matter in politics? Only if you want to influence the government to make special laws on your behalf — a most un-Repub demand. Homosexuals want us to accept what is known to be psychological gender identification problem to be completely normal. It can’t be, of course, but most of us don’t discriminate or treat them any different in the normal course of events -we’re all people equal under the law. So, why do they separate themselves from us as a category within a political party based on sexual “orientation?” There really isn’t any justification for it. If, as reported, the Sunshine group is conservative on most issues, then they’re Republican; their homosexuality is and should be separate. There are caucuses within the party –the Repub Liberty Caucus is one– that is distinguished by a faction of the party with emphasis on a certain political philosophy and not on personal predilections. That being said, I think I know why they like Charlie.

  7. Brucie Boye says:

If Charlie Crist loses the Senate race, we would love to have him as Mayor of Wilton Manors. Charlie has always bent over for our causes.

  8. Gay & Proud! says:

Was this Charlie Crist’s comming out party? You go boy! Be GAY and be PROUD! Us gay people love you! Thank’s for doing whats right! xoxoxo

  9. Xavier says:

Javier, are you just scared to come out yourself?? You are scared to death of the Sunshine Republicans because you, yourself deal with sexual identity issues and find it easier, like most closeted men, to run from “gayness” than embrace it.

I salute Dr. Lewis, Dr. Bullard, and Mr. Stone for their activism in somewhat of a troubled community where being a gay republican is not accepted. After looking at their website, they do not care as much as social issues rather they are informed of what needs to be done to correct our party and are very welcoming to all walks of life! Kudos to these men and Thank you Sunshine Republicans for being out there and what looks to be the most active club in Broward County.

    Xavier

  10. Walker says:

Xavier, you said it best when you said “After looking at their website, they do not care as much as social issues rather they are informed of what needs to be done to correct our party…”

These men have stepped outside the proverbial box and do care about the GOP.

Unlike Javier, who in fact has done more to tear up the Republican Party than to build it up!

  11. Gary Hunt says:

There is NO SUCH THING AS A GAY Republican………
GAYS ARE Dammed by God. You can NOT be Conservative if you are Gay, they are opposites. Crist is NO Conservative, NO Republican, he is Demo in Republican clothes, so Gays supporting him fits.

  12. coolpillow says:

Do the Sunshine Republicans know that Crist is gay- but he bashes them privately?
He is a user, abuser, RINO loser.

And if you don’t believe me- there was an HBO special that documented it.

  13. CB says:

Gary, are you that stupid?? I swear your IQ and credit score adds up to the speed limit in a school zone.

You have to be the most ignorant fool, other than Javier that I have ever seen. I guess you call yourself a “Christian” Huh??

Just one more for the burning!! I guess, you will have a special place in hell, right next to Jerry Falwell!

  14. Jimmy Fallon says:

This was the icing on the cake for Charlie Crist and more momentum for the Rube-Meister.

  15. Ron says:

Nice job Javier! You sparked exactly the kind of hate language and divisive debate that has ripped this party apart and allowed the Dems to point the finger at us, justifiably, as the party of “haters” for years. Of course it only describes a few of us, but it brings out the Gary Hunts of the party in droves. All to promote your guy. NTTAWWT. FYI to the above posters who have implied or outright said that a gay republican club has no business or right, as it were to exist, other that to promote its own “gay” agenda. You would be surprised what we are all about, actually. And our meetings are open to all, by the way, gay or straight. First and foremost, we are Republican and conservative, just like you. We are, apparently, just a little more inclusive and interested in our party reaching out to include others who might not have felt welcome before (gee, I wonder why?) You see, we want to WIN ELECTIONS.

  16. Republicans for God says:

So Crist supports the gay lifestyle eh?? Someone just sent this to me and it was a movie about Crist and his gay life style. And this guy (Crist) says he is a conservative? And Crist talks about TRUST? PLEASE!!!!!

  17. b.a. says:

So…the Gay Republicans support Charlie Crist for Senate? Like that’s a bad thing?

I’m not sure what your point is really…..What if someone puts up a blog about the Sunrise Latin Club supporting Marco Rubio, or the Liberty City Democrats supporting Kendrick Meek. Now if the Plantation Asian Democrats decide to support Marco Rubio, that might actually be interesting.

In my mind, all this blog does is once again, point to to bigoted mindset of the typical Marco Rubio supporter. Get over it people.

  18. BLOWINREPUB says:

WTF????? Have these people lost their minds? As a candidate, I would love to have Sunshine Republicans and Log Cabin Support!

As the national elections have proved in 2000 only 24% of gays voted for Bush, 2004 28% voted for Bush, 2008 over 35% voted for McCain. The gay community is a large community with a lot of financial backing. The Sunshine Republicans are probably the most well funded club in South Florida. I say to hell with the morons who say that Gays have no place in politics?

    Wakethehellupdumbasses!

  19. coolpillow says:

I don’t have a problem with Crist being gay.
I have a problem with him USING the gay community, sitting in the closet- and BASHING them!
Wake up and see the SUNSHINE gay Republicans!

  20. HotPillow says:

To COOL PILLOW: Put the pillow over your face and breath deeply!

How is he using the gay community? He is NOT.

Unlike Rubio, who says one thing on the east coast and something different on the west coast.

Trust is Trust and I cannot trust a $133.00 haircut, nor the “Peter Pan” story!

BlowinRepub, that is awesome, but it should WAKEDAFUKUPAMERICA…

  21. Ben says:

    TO REPUBLICANS FOR GOD:

I like to see the best in people and not be judgemental, however, you must not have seen the video “OUTRAGE”, it is the most ridiculous video of cut and pasted BS ever!

Read this article from the Sun Sentinel,

    http://weblogs.sun-sentinel.com/news/politics/broward/blog/2009/05/documentary_film_goes_after_cl_1.html

This is an interview when I was VP of the Log Cabin Club, prior to it falling apart for not being conservative enough along with a Democrat from the Dolphin Dems.

  22. Slick Willy says:

I really have no problems with Charlie Crist being supported by this particular gay Republican Club. But if Charlie REALLY wants to make this election about TRUST, who is he kidding? Charlie can feign outrage all day long about about Marco going to a salon instead of SuperCuts. But when it comes to the big things- like governing like a Democrat, agreeing with Obama on the Stimulus and Healthcare “reform”, or his arranged marriage to a wife who lives in NY that he conveniently flies down from NY and uses as a prop for public events- what is there exactly about Charlie Crist that we can trust?

  23. Republican Voters says:

Everyone knows that the gay SunShinny Hinny club is the biggest JOKE in the Republican party! You might see 4 or 5 people in their meetings. Everyone laughs behind their backs. But if Crist a “Republican” wants to support this type of gay lifestyle go right ahead… Lets see who the Republican voter votes for now on August 24th?! Welcome to the NFL BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. Jim in Tampa says:

The Log Cabin Republicans of Tampa Bay is not endorsing either candidate. There is a lot of strong support within the group for both candidates and it is the policy of LCR-Tampa Bay not to endorse in a primary.

  25. Rose says:

I really dont like all this fighting between Republicans but I must say that after reading this I’m not sure if i’m going to vote for Crist now. God says “HOMOSEXUALITY” is a sin! And dont get me wrong. We like Charlie! He is a very very nice guy but how can I face the Lord when I die and tell him I voted for a guy who supports this filth? I’m going to re-post. Call me old fashion I guess…

  26. Brec Member says:

Keep doing Gods work Javier. I cant believe that Crist calls himself a Christian? You cant “TRUST” this guy!

  27. Gay Pride! says:

F U! You stupid so called Christians! If you all cant stand the fact that Charlie supports us and we support him than go F-yourselves! Your a bunch of right wing H-holes! I hope Crist beats the hell out of Rubio!!

  28. Lightweight says:

You are waisting your time trying to promote Rubio on the idea the homosexuals are supporting Crist.I guess your intent was to embarrass Crist by linking him to the gays. You forgot to they had presense at CPAC.
It’s funny you distance Rubio from the gay vote, why not remind people of Mit Romneey’s gay marriage policy? No you will only be selective on these issue and then question should the gop be a tent kind of party, room from all. This is why you are not reporting news, you are reporting you own policy and candidate, but will claim to be objective. Why not have a conscience and cal the gop for wwhat it is-a sell out.But never mind, you would not get that would you?

  29. Lightweight says:

I still don’t get why you call this the Shark-Tank?Is that supposed to mean there is debate or sabbotage?

  30. Gay Conservative Republican says:

I’m conservative gay and I happen to support Marco. Word is that Ben Lewis and some of the SunShine Republicans have an ax to grind with Mr.Rubio because Rubio canceled an event with them. HELLO!!!! Get over it! You guys are making us look bad!

  31. Dee says:

How does someone stand for conservative values and sell out to open borders, socialism, and backing from the gay community? Then again, I heard Crist was a closet homo, and he just got married to stop the rumors. He needs to come out of the closet and just admit to being gay and liberal..

  32. First of all I want to address a few things that have been mentioned thus far in the comments.

    1. Homosexual Republicans are not conservatives – There is one significant difference between Conservatives and Right Libertarians (what I consider Homosexual Republicans to be).

Conservatives believe in Traditional Family Values. This principle alone is what separates conservatives from every other ideology in the right and most in the left.

Right Libertarians believe in everything conservatives believe in except Traditional Family Values. So if we can understand the difference between the two then maybe conservatives wont be angry when a Homosexuals call themselves conservative, we just need to correct them and say “No you are not conservative, because you don’t believe in Traditional Family Values you are actually a Right Libertarian.”

The principle of Traditional Family Values is what causes the most division within the Republican Party. Once we are able to identify the major rift that is dividing us then maybe we can unite as a party and finally come together.

The way we come together is by all realizing that when it comes to Traditional Family Values we must fight and push for this principle to be debated and decided at the state level, essentially making it a States Rights issue. I say screw the Federal Government getting involved in personal issues like marriage and abortion. Let each individual state decide, and yes that means overturning Roe v. Wade.

At least we can decide to move to a state that better suites our own personal lifestyles if we do not agree with the laws of that state.

    2. Charlie Crist being a homosexual – No one really knows. Don’t you think that if he were a homosexual the media would have been all over him like white on rice. The media has no problem bringing out the hypocrisy of those who preach one thing yet in private do exactly the opposite. The media has destroyed plenty of Republican Politicians in the past for being closet homosexuals, what makes you think they wouldn’t do the some thing to Charlie?

The fact of the matter is, if he is gay he is hiding it very well and there isn’t any evidence, or the evidence hasn’t come up yet. If he isn’t a homosexual, then hell he isn’t. The truth always comes out in due time.

    3. Christians Bashing Homosexuals – Look I am a Christian, the homosexual lifestyle is something I detest, but as Christians we have to remember to always love and care for people. I know the following saying is overused but “Hate the sin not the sinner”

Honestly, is hate, condemning and calling for fire and brimstone what Christ would have done. Guys (talking to my fellow Christians) seriously what would Jesus do(no pun intended)?

Is not Christ the one who saved the immoral woman from being stoned to death, “Let he who has no sin cast the first stone!!!”. Was it not Christ who dined with the Tax collectors, beggars, prostitutes and countless sinners. Who did Christ come for, those who were perfect or those who have sinned?

We do not win any souls for Christ by hating and pushing people out. Please you are making a bad name for Conservative Christians nationwide!!!

My fellow Christians have we forgotten the Greatest Commandment? “The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF. There is none other commandment greater than these.”

Did we forget this, that we need to Love God first and others second? Please remember this before you go bashing anyone because of a sin!!!

    4. Why I still pick Marco Rubio over Charlie Crist – In a nutshell I believe fiscally and socially Marco Rubio is more in line with my “Conservative” principles than Charlie Crist.

He has always been Pro-Life, always been for Marriage Between one man and one woman, always been against homosexual adoption, which at the federal level shouldn’t matter because like I said earlier, it needs to be a states right issue where the people of the state should decide. Florida is different than Massachusetts.

Fiscally, he is more conservative than Crist. One phrase “Stimulus Package”.

Marco Rubio has vision, he has passion and he has the ability to energize the people for the Conservative cause. I have not seen Crist give a speech where he has been interrupted several times by a standing ovation. We need someone with vision, someone with passion to energize the Conservatives/Republicans.

The last person that did this, well ill give you a hint, his first and last name begins with the letter R!!!

Lastly, I believe that a people with vision is an unstoppable force, and a people with no vision are doomed to perish.

Rubio communicates a pure and clear vision. I haven’t heard that from Crist in any of the speeches, even as recent as the Christian Family Coalition breakfast this past Saturday.

All in all I hope I clarified any issues, and hopefully gently rebuked some people in this blog.

    Sincerely
    Michael Sheen

  35. @lightweight

This post was not to try to embarrass Governor Crist in anyway by linking him to the gays, as you refer to them. Everything in this post is 100% accurate and that is why I wrote the piece.

Yes GOPROUD was a sponsor at CPAC, so what? I do not take isssue with the Gay Community, to each his own.

One point I would like to make is that many readers have been commenting about the bumpersticker that is affixed to the backside of a Crist supporter. Ask yourself, why would they be doing so?

This may bring embarrassment to the club, and the kind of embarrassment to Crist you are referring to. But this is their own doing.

Why would anyone ‘knowingly’ put a bumpersticker of a candidate that they support on their arse?

How did they think it was going to look? It is obvious to me that the person thought it would be funny, but failed think it through.

Again, people are free to say what they feel,as long as they keep it clean.

  36. GD says:

Wow, last I knew Christians were not judgmental fear mongers.
Politics aside–if someone is good enough to die for our country, then why should they have to hide their sexual preference? It’s archaic and doesn’t make sense. If you’re a straight man, it doesn’t mean you want to go sleep with every woman you see, so why do you assume gays wanna sleep with every man (or woman) they see? It’s ignorance isn’t it? and it’s hateful. If the Republican party wants to rebuild it’s base, then drop the judgments and assessments of everyone–(cuz guess what? Republicans are out there making mistakes and asking forgiveness as much as anyone and are a far cry far perfect) Let’s get down to making our country a great place again and forget about this hypocritical BS of playing God and passing judgement on people.
I don’t care and don’t want to even want know what politicians are doing in their bedrooms—it’s not my business.

  37. Real BREC Member says:

Mr. Manjarres, this event was not sponsored by any gay Republican group. Sorry to let the FACTS get in the way of your story. You are simply a liar.

  38. Ben says:

    Javier,

Then you said “people are free to say what they feel, as long as they keep it clean.”

Why don’t you just say people can say what they feel if it is the truth or not.

You have lost my respect totally, you are a disgrace to call yourself a Republican.

I guess, you and Crist have more things in common in your perception.

  39. The Sunshine Republicans are not a part of the Log Cabin Republicans and are not affiliated with the chartered Log Cabin Repubican chapters in Florida (Broward, Orlando and Tampa Bay). Any implication by the author of this blog suggesting that all gay Republicans are supporting Crist, is misleading.

  40. Cristhater says:

*****@Michael Sheen might have a point…great post Michael, I like the fact that you used your real name.*****

  41. Dave Boggs says:

Maybe this organization along with other organizations want peace and are frightened by Mr. Rubio’s rhetoric concerning Iran. Any politician rattling war sabres against Iran are insane. First of all they are not Arabs. They don’t even care for Arabs. They are Persian and they want peace. Secondly, they are in the stone age and the people are as poor as dirt. Third, another war will cause you and I to be as poor as dirt.

  42. @BREC Member and Ben,

Hate to be the spoiler of your spin, but I have actual statements acknowledging the Sunshine Republicans sponsorship of this event. Sorry.

Ben, Sorry you feel that way. You very well know that everything in the article is 100% accurate.
I am a Republican and so are you, gay or straight, what difference does it make.

  43. Mary in Miami says:

I just want to have a word with the people that are spewing hate in the name of Christianity. As a devout Christian, I am appalled at some of these comments. I think Michael Sheen clarified it best — that you for your post. I do not want anyone to get the wrong idea of what a true, practicing Christian is. Christians should not be spewing the hate of Gary Hunt above. All persons (gay or straight / born or unborn) are to be given human dignity and respect. All have sinned. Being a homosexual is not a sin, but acting upon it is — some choose to live a chaste life. And look at the sinfullness of many heterosexuals — those that use contraception are actively sinning, and there are many of those. So, don’t attack the gays when you have your own sinfullness.

  44. Arse Wiping Bumper Sticker Guys says:

There’s been a mistake. They only endorsed him because they thought his name was “Charlie Fist.” Sunshine has now withdrawn their endorsement.

  45. Im in the US Army and I have to say the words and discussions i have seen about the military are completely disgusting. The way you talk about the people who serve YOUR country, the people who put THEIR live on the line, they are doing it for people like you. Some of you have no appreciation to these people who dont even know who you are but are willing to give up family, friends, loved ones, and their own lives so that you can see another day in peace in this country. Instead of talking down about homosexuals, why don’t you see all that they are giving you. They are giving you their LIVES. And in return this is what you give them? A life of secrecy and self denial to make YOU PEOPLE happy?! Get over yourselves! this is so selfish when they are doing something 100% selfless, this just goes to show that gays in the military have alot more ball$ than many of you do here. Why dont you go over to the sand box live their life and back at home

  46. Bruce says:

Bumpersticker on the guys butt is hilarious!

At least we see that the Gay guys are dedicated to their queer agenda and are completely ‘behind’ Charlie Crist for Senate.

  47. nope says:

The point is we want to protect our men and women who are already serving and we want others to sign up. Every military commander who isn’t a flaming liberal knows that turning our military into a social experiment would be a disaster. We appreciate all who serve but we don’t want to lower the recruitment of 96% to serve the agenda of 4%. There are other reasons too. Your emotional plea is for something harmful.

  48. We cant trust Crist says:

I’m so glad that Crist showed his true colors by going and supporting the gay SunShine club! What a hypocrite!Crist says one thing to us Christians and church folks and then goes and says another to the gay clubs. Crist cant be trusted!! He lost my vote. A friend just sent me this. Please watch and know the real Charlie Crist…

Whoever said that the Sunshine club is the most active in Broward County. Well, yaaaaa, but not in the way that most clubs can compete with if you know what I mean.

I also hear that the Sunshine club is changing its name for the rest of the Senate race. Welcome to “Charlie’s Angels”

  50. W-A-R says:

I stand beside Ben Lewis, Ron Bullard and Nicholas Stone the 3 main people targeted in this pure hatred..Javier Manjarres is a Bigot who cannot come to terms with himself so decides do bash people who are doing great things. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and opinions are just like ass holes.. Everyone has one and they usually stink…Well Manjarres, you might want to bend over and smell yours because I don’t think you have washed it a VERY LONG TIME!! These individuals that are subjects of your bashing have the right to endorse whomever they want on a personal level and their Facebook pages or personal websites are part of their personal selves and a separate entity from Sunshine Republicans, so they can say and/or do whatever they want on them. Also, how dare you use photos off of someones PERSONAL site, that is theft and publishing photos on a website without the persons consent is blatant disregard and utter lack of common decency. You need to grow up, come out of the closet and realize that the Sunshine Republicans are doing good. You cant handle the fact that there are people who don’t think the way you think and that is unacceptable in your pathetic book. Grow a pair and get over yourself.

  51. Ben Take a Breather says:

Knock it off Ben. You made yourselves the brunt of jokes. Nicholas with his stick made himself the butt of jokes other Log Cabin clubs, that you broke away from, appealed to you not to make a mockery of them. You decided to do this. So when people make jokes about your club because of your behavior, it’s not hatred it’s just calling you out for your stunts. Most posters here are making fun of you and how sensitive you’re getting. So just take a breather.

  52. I want my MOMMIE! says:

Ben is a BIG baby! Ben is a BIG baby! Ben is a Big baby! You and Crist can stick your heads is some gravy! NA! NA! NA! NA! NA! ;)

  53. there should be a page on FB stating……….crispy citizens for Crist. Charlie is almost ready to stick a fork in him…….or is he still half-baked? LOL!

  54. Broward Billy Club says:

Javier a “Bigot”?? Spouting “Pure Hatred”? Please, spare us the hyperbole. IMO, this seems to be a straightforward report on a political event, plain and simple. It seems the main issue raised is whether the Sunshine Republicans are in fact endorsing Crist, which is a totally relevant question. If you cannot deal with a factual account of a political event that the public is invited to, why bother having the event in the first place? Did I see any condemnation or bashing of gay people in the article? I think not. And he’s not censoring the comments either unless they contain profanity. What more can be expected of him?

  55. R U GUYS REALLY DEM'S LIKE CRIST? says:

Are the “GIRLS” from the “GAY” SunShine Republican club still crying? They should. Because they just gave Marco Rubio an additional 10% points on top of the 18% points Marco has already on their “Boyeee” Crist! I love how you gals are 100% “BEHIND” Crist. Don’t cry now…

  56. Brucie Boye says:

Why are my blogs that are filled with “mathematical facts” always being taken down? I’m a sensative man and my feeling are being hurt by this.

  57. Brucie Boye says:

Rumor has it that if Charlie Crist loses the Senate Race he will become dog catcher of Wilton Manors. I strongly suggest that all the male dogs leave town now before he arrives. PETA should step in because this is cruelty to animals.

  58. BREC Member says:

yes that Denapoli does get around!

  59. Ann says:

So let me get this straight… First Crist goes to a family forum with a bunch of christians in attendance. Then Crist goes to a “GAY” Republican club who happens to support gay marriage adoption and wants to repeal “dont ask dont tell?” Man,this guy (Crist) does play on both sides of the fence!

  60. Fl. Republican Voters says:

The “GAY” Sunshine Republican club is a joke! They are a bunch of “RADICALS!” Just ask anyone. They support gay marriage, gay adoption, abortion, repealing don’t ask don’t tell, trans gender rights and push for gay materials to be put in our children’s books at school and in our public library’s! And Crist supports them? Well good luck Governor when us Republicans vote on August 24th 2010!
