Allen West must really be getting under Congressman Ron Klein’s skin, if Klein has to start making absurd character assassinations, even as they are five months out from the General Election.
In a recent campaign email, Klein made the following remark about West- “Make no mistake: 
my opponent isn’t simply attempting to bring his radical and dangerous views to Congress – he’s attempting to make himself a national figure and leader of the Republican party.” Klein also goes off to call West ,” Palinesque.”
Congressman Klein may be a lot things, but his latest fear mongering and character assassination is clearly calculated. Klein sees his seat slipping away from him, and he has no other choice but to resort to desperation tactics to incite fear about West. So we called the West campaign, and West gave the following statement to the Shark Tank:
“These are the rantings of a desperate person…Our opponent’s outrageous attempt at fundraising by attacking Lieutenant Colonel West is further proof that he is in full-blown panic mode. I’d suggest he stick to his traditional source of financial support – trial lawyers (at least $22,000), unions ($10,000 from SEIU, $30,000 from the Teamsters), Fannie & Freddie ($11,000), and even BP ($1,500).
He can name call and whine, but he can’t run away from his ultra-liberal – some would even say radical – voting record, in which he has voted with his boss, Nancy Pelosi, 98% of the time. Ron Klein has clearly decided to take his campaign negative rather than face his constituents’ frustration over his failure in stemming an unemployment rate of over 12% in South Florida, the third highest foreclosure rate in the nation, and a potential environmental disaster completely mishandled by the Federal Government. He is out of touch with the average Floridian and average American.”
The irony is rich here as Congressman Klein has supported and voted for progressive, radical agenda that fundamentally has changed our country for the worse, and yet here he is attempting to label West as the “radical and dangerous” candidate. As more and more people are realizing every day, that label best fits Congressman Klein’s ultimate boss, President Barack H. Obama, along with his failed polices and agenda. We can expect more character attacks and distortions as the campaign season progresses from vulnerable Democrats such as Ron Klein.

Klein knows he’s going to LOSE! Desparate people do desparate things and this is another example of it. Klein is ultra liberal and a prime example of the progressive left that has run America down the road to bankruptcy. We can not and will not allow things to be ‘business as usual’ anymore in Washington, DC. We, ‘the people’, are coming after Klein and ALL the chronies who have cause our Country to be in the shape it is today. Wake up America and either become part of the solution with great representatives of the people like Alan West or get the hell out of our way. God bless America!
Mr. Klein backed the banks and not the people by failing to support HR1207; The Federal Reserve Transparency Act. That bill would have forced the FED (a private bank that controls our money) to tell Americans where they are spending OUR money. But NO!, Mr. Klein voted that the Federal Reserve is awarded more power and more secrecy. They will now have more secrecy than the CIA. Mr. Klein and the banks are trying to fool America again by passing the Banking “Reform” Bill. It is a BIG LIE. Mr. Klein supports the notion that the FED decides how and to which country and which buddies on Wallstreet get bailed out and get bigger bonuses. ITS A TOTAL SCAM… AMERICA WAKE UP
I wish I could vote for West but I’m not in his voting district. He seems like a candidate with a backbone and drive. We need leaders, not followers like the majority of Congress who are “Quid pro Quo” representatives and members of the one “Incumbent” Party of Lobiests and Bankers. West will have no problem with standing up for Conservative Values and minimal Constitutional government. In the eyes of the Socialistic Democrats this would be radical and dangerous ideas.

I am worried that West will slip and say something very wrong-campaign over! He has already spoken out of line agianst Bush and Rubio-allies he needs to win his seat.
He is a good candidate, just a loose cannon that the liberals will take out to the barn and give him a good ol fashion country ass whooping
I AM NOT IN ALAN WEST DISTRICT, HOWEVER THIS MAN WOULD HAVE MY VOTE. IT IS TRUE HE DOES HAVE A BACK BONE AND HE HAS ALREADY GIVEN A GOOD PORTION OF HIS LIFE IN DEFENSE OF OUR COUNTRY. HE NEEDS TO KEEP GOING AND THE GOOD PEOPLE IN HIS DISTRICT NEEDS TO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT HIM.
I have heard Alan West many times, and think he is one of the most honarable individuals I have talked and listened to in many years. He is truly a Statesmen. This is the kind of leader we need.
Thank you Mr. Klein, Alan West as a National Leader is a worthwhile consideration and once we elect him to Congress the future seems a little brighter somehow.I can have hope once again that sanity may prevail in government, as Klein and his Socialists are not grounded in any reality of life.
Klein is not a Blue Dog Dem, he’s not a Yellow Dog Dem –he’s Pelosi’s Puppy. He does everything she says never thinking for himself or for his district.
He takes the money from the lawyers and unions and Obama’s Fannie and Freddie and does as he is told hewing to the socialist, statist line. His is one vote in the One Party rule that is destroying the Republic and that has got to change this November. Go West!

Who are they? Where do they come from? What is their background?
Where there is documentation to illustrate their characters, make a comparison. Compare their records civilian and military service and compare their documented accomplishments. Compare their positions on matters of vital interest to the citizens of Florida’s Dist. 22. Check out what they’ve actually said in public and what they’ve written for the record. Check out where their campaign contributions have come from. Who are their supporters?
Check out their private lives – their characters, their education, their public service prior to this campagin, their families, their faiths, their associates, their personal pursuits, their hobbies, their activities. Compare. Compare.

And, it isn’t Ron Klein.
Ezra, you worry needlessly. Allen West has so much dignity and class that I seriously doubt that he will say something wrong. I’m not sure why you would classify him as a “lose cannon”.
Furthermore, Mr. West already has a “brand” that has been shaped and sold. Even if he did say something “wrong” it would be considered refreshingly honest in the current political atmosphere.
Lastly, say what you will, but it’s tough, REAL tough, to paint someone with Allen’s military background as some kind of radical loon. Not that it can’t be done as we found out with John Kerry, but that was a different stage with a different audience, different players, and different stakes.
Dear Col. West,
Your excellent oratory on the streets of Broward County in favor of America’s friendship and support for Israel stuck a dagger in the heart of the rhetorical, secular, Klein whose in lock step with the Liberal Socialist, Pelosi. Now deliver the coup-de-gras by closing ranks with fellow conservatives Bill McCollum and others on strategies for Jobs for Floridians and the IT’s OVER for Klein and Wasserman-Shultz and the House in Washington!
