Florida District 8 GOP Congressional candidate Bruce O’Donoghue jumped into the Shark Tank to discuss the recent shenanigans with the Florida Tea Party Party and pulled no punches. O’Donoghue is considered the frontrunner in the GOP race for the seat held by uber liberal Congressman Alan Grayson. This interview follows up our report from earlier this week, Florida Tea Party Spills its Tea on how the third party that could very well help to re-elect Grayson by splitting the Conservative vote in Congressional District 8. O’Donoghue, like many Republicans and other politicos in the know understand that Grayson is colluding with the third party, stating that “Alan Grayson is pumping money into the leadership of the Florida Tea Party.” (VIDEO)

So, Alan Grayson is “connected” to the Florida Tea Party. Well, since Peg Dunmire is polling above all the Republican candidates in district 8, it would seem to me that the Republicans are going to split the vote against her! I have met Peg Dunmire and she is a graceful, articulate, intelligent woman and she make a grate congresswoman. She has done her do-diligence and has found no meaningful connection between the Florida Tea Party and anyone else. These are all just rumors that are being retold all over the blog-o-sphere.
The straw poll that Dunmire won was conducted by People Power Hour. If I am not mistaken, George Crossley is the head of that group. He was convicted of hiring a hitman. He also was the ACLU chairman for central Florida. I am not sure if one should boast about winning that straw poll.
This guy is right on! I like what he has to say and I feel this third party is in line with Obama and the Democrats.

Calling O’Donoghue the “front runner” is misrepresenting the facts. Please identify what poll places him in this position. From what I’ve seen Bruce O’Donoghue only won 1, in his own back yard. In fact at the last straw poll at the WORWF O’Donoghue came in 2nd to last for the entire field of 7. This doesn’t make him the ‘front runner” unless he is the Self Proclaimed front runner.
Patricia Sullivan has consistently polled in the top 3, a great place for a grassroots candidate to be.She is the one to watch, the only Republican candidate on the ballot by voter signed petitions, btw the only other candidate to do so is Alan Grayson himself. This certainly looks to me that Patricia can and will give Grayson the competition he was not counting on. Patricia is just the candidate to send Grayson Packing!

Everyone knows that the real tea party people in Central Florida support Sullivan or Long. Bruce is trying to suck up to the tea party movement because he knows none of us will vote for him. He is the establishments hand picked candidate, he made millions of dollars off of the backs of taxpayers and he is pro-amnesty. The Florida Tea Party is a joke and none of the grassroots support it. The only way it will “split the vote” is if this joker wins.
