Florida Congressional candidate Allen West held a town hall meeting in Fort Lauderdale to address the concerns of voters who were clearly concerned about the direction the country is headed in. In true Allen West fashion, he flexed his broad knowledge of the issues and answered the questions with the utmost conviction.

“ Unlike Congressman Ron Klein, Allen West believes that the power of the Federal Government rests in the people. A Townhall is a forum that provides constituents an opportunity to hear directly from their elected officials. Last night’s Townhall, and those that will follow, are an example of what is to come when Allen West is elected to the U.S. House of Representatives,” said Valentina Weis, Communications Director.
West spoke to a crowd of about 200 for about 20 minutes, before taking questions-questions range from Illegal Immigration, Taxes, Education and Racism. As Racism begins to peak it’s ugly head out again, West express his frustration and concern with recent racial accusations regarding the Tea Party movement and the recent NAACP resolution directed at the movement.

It was the Liberals (Progressives) that spread hatred and civil unrest in the San Francisco Bay area in the late ’70′s (I lived there for 25 years!)… that caused Nancy Pelosi shed her ‘tears’… it was the Southern Democrats that wanted the Civil Rights Movement shut down and keep the Black man down, it was a highly “honored(?)” and long-serving (way too long) Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, who recently passed, that fought against Civil Rights for the Blacks by mounting a filibuster in the Senate. It was a Democrat Governor that blocked little Black children from entering the puclic schools. AND NOW… the Liberals/Progressives/Socialist (whatever the name is this week) want to paint the Tea Party racist. What a joke. But sadly… those who do no know history are doomed to gobble up any “dribble and lies” fed to them by the state-controlled media. I have attended Tea Party events and NEVER saw any racism… in fact I saw Black people protesting the Governement policies…peaceably…albeit loud… right along side white and brown people and some red ones, too! The Tea Party respresents all people! The biggest job we have is educating the people who are asleep, apathetic, or just uninformed.
Volunteeer today for a candidate’s campaign… walk door to door, make phone calls, stuff envelopes, stick labels., tweet…. do something!! The plan of the Socialist agenda is to divide us … using whatever they can… racism is one of their best means. Don’t let it happen! GET TO WORK AND GO VOLUNTEER FOR A CANDIDATE’S CAMPAIGN AND LET”S TAKE BACK THIS COUNTRY… ONE VOTE AT A TIME! THEN WE’LL REPEAL ALL THESE NONSENCE BILLS THEY HAVE PASSED… OR WE’RE DONE FOR! FOR GENERATIONS!

Why is it that the ‘blacks’ and ‘immigrants’ have more rights than the rest of society? Why does ‘reverse’ discrimination run rampant in Southern Florida. Why does knowing more than one language get you a job faster than those born and raised here, and served their country in the military not have the same ‘benefits’ as those coming in the ‘open doors’ ? All jobs and opportunity should be based on ability and skill, not race or immigration status. This has to stop!!

Well what can we say – we all know that we need people like Allen West to be elected to Congress and all levels of Government. The NAACP is on the fringe on this one and it’s refreshing to see blacks standing up and telling them as much. There have been others who have spoken out against the nonsense also. I’ll take them in the Republican party over the victims that the NAACP is trying to appeal to any day.
tell everyone you know to vote in the primary Aug 24 and the mid term election Nov 2…..too many people do not know there is a primary – we cant get our government back if we do not get out and vote . Allen West can only get the job done if he goes to Washington and sits in Congress and fights for us there.
It will be an honor to vote for Allen West.
Did you know that Martin Luther King was a Republican? Another censored by the liberal media. Just like JFK never cut taxes on the rich and never was an anti-communist.
The only disappointment I have with Allen West is that he is not running for President. We need him there NOW. He is a true leader and I would feel absolutely confident with him in a position of power, representing us in the world. And he is so right about his evaluation of the tea party. I stood arm in arm with people of all colors, religions and various political parties. No racism to be found. No bigotry. I do however hear thinly veiled racist comments from the first family all the time. And I am sick and tired of being accused by self-described “intellectuals” on the progressive left of being racist, bigoted and stupid because I am white and believe in God and the traditional values that built this country. Lt. Col. West…in a few months, Congress. In a few years I will be working on your presidential candidacy.
This guy is awesome!!!!! He has to and needs to be elected for this country to begin to climb out from the hell hole some call washington and begin to rebuild again!! He should be the first real african-american/AMERICAN to be PRESIDENT.
