Lowry’s Compromised Campaign Nets a Bizarre Endorsement

by Javier Manjarres

Last week, we exposed FL CD 20 GOP Congressional candidate Robert Lowry’s not-so-congressional candidacy by documenting his laundry list of Federal Election Commission violations, as well as the poor judgment he showed when he scribbled the initials ‘DWS’ on a target that he shot at, and later lied about.  More questions are coming out about Lowry candidacy, one of which is- just who is behind the campaign itself?  We profiled several of the keys players within the campaign in our last posting, (Tea Party Candidate Robert Lowry).

But before we do this, we must call attention to the fact that Robert Lowry has been in endorsed in this primary by long-time Democrat and Jimmy Carter supporter Howard Neu. Mr. Neu is actively supporting Progressives like Scott Galvin who is running for Congress in FL CD 17 and has donated to his campaign-Galvin praises President Obama and his policies, and is on record of it:

I support the national health care plan…Like most progressives, I wanted more reform faster. I would have liked anything that would have moved us closer to uniform, rational national health care system.”-Galvin

Why would Robert Lowry actively pursue this endorsement, and why would he promote the endorsement of a know liberal Democrat supporter? The real question is whether or not Mr. Lowry supports Mr. Neu’s liberal beliefs or not. Mr. Lowry himself as stated that he too was a liberal on his website :

A student of sociology in my early college experience, I was a committed liberal (as many students typically are) attending rallies and marching on Washington D.C. That was until travels to East Berlin, Prague, and other parts of Europe, opened my eyes to the dangers of socialism, causing me to take another look at my political commitments. I made a dramatic change to conservatism, and never looked back.”

Has Robert Lowry gone back to his liberal ways, or is he so desperate that he is becoming another Charlie Crist opportunist that will do anything to win an election? The following information is just more added facts to the growing understanding of why Robert Lowry is a poor representation of the Tea Party movement and the Republican party.

Now, we”ll add some more background to our earlier post by revealing some more interesting facts and tidbits that add to the growing understanding as to why Robert Lowry is a poor representative of the Tea Party movement and the Republican party.

Christopher Leggatt
Campaign Manager

Mr. Leggatt is notorious for pressuring local  GOP officials into endorsing his candidate over the other Republicans in the race. Officials have expressed how annoyed they have been with Mr. Leggatt with his tiresome attempts to convince them that Robert Lowry is the only candidate that can win.  His argument basically boils down to the fact that Lowry has been “running” the longest, even though he was not the first candidate to file.  Yes, Lowry has been running the longest, but his fundraising has been nearly nonexistent and it shows the general lack of support his campaign has.

Leggatt, is also known for ‘Gestapo-like’ intimidation tactics that always fail, yet still he attempts to intimidate, so we need to give him an ‘A’ for effort.  Mr. Leggatt and another staffer, whom will be profile here in a few- Charles “Chad” Lincoln, have delved into mudslinging and outright slander during this campaign, yet the irony behind this all is that Mr. Leggatt should be the one biting his tongue about issues of public record.  Here is a screen capture from the Broward.Org website (public record) of some very troubling matters. (Check out the link here-Christopher Leggatt)

Charles ‘Chad’ Lincoln

Campaign Advisor/Donor
Mr. Lincoln is under investigation in a civil suit and continues to promote the same tactics that have started the scrutiny of his actions. Lincoln has long been a  self-proclaimed supporter of the rule of law and says that people need to be held accountable for their actions, but the hypocrisy here seems to be flying in every direction when Mr. Lincoln tries to lead the charge against politicians and organizations that have been under some scrutiny from the Federal Elections Commissions(FEC). The Lowry for Congress Campaign has been under this same scrutiny several times over the past year or so. (Robert Lowry- FEC)

DC Works for Us

DC Works for Us, or as many would say, “DC Works for Lowry”, is a grassroots organization spearheaded in Broward County, Florida by Karin Hoffman. The organization holds meetings around the county, and whose sole purpose is to help elected Republican candidates-their candidates. DC Works for Us has endorsed the Edward Lynch for Congress in FL CD 19 and has also endorsed Robert Lowry for Congress in FL CD 20.  Most of the supporters in the organization are faithful, hardworking  individuals who care greatly about what is going on in the country, but some of this groups’ tactics have been entirely counterproductive and divisive, and their actions are only serving to do damage to the broader cause of stopping the Obama agenda.

Some may tell others they are “going about it the wrong way” or “your doing bad to the party” but for me this is the type of information that the Tea Party needs to make thier minds up. Like the who sings…..”We wont get fooled again.” Thank you Javier for your hard work!

  2. Javier, Take a nap.Stop destroying the RPOF.

  3. The “Tea Parties” started out to be a great movement, but somewhere along the way many of them were hijacked (one in Orlando, by Democrat Alan Grayson, and many by Libertarians who are promoting their own agendas through deception.

While I support many of the Tea Parties, I ask people to make sure of what individual Tea Parties are trying to do, because some are meant to split the conservative vote so that Democrats can be elected. If this happens, in my opinion, it’s all over for America as we knew it.

You are very confused, my friend, by thinking that the organic, self contained conservative tea party movement has anything to do with the so called “tea party” political party. One is the real thing, representative of the people, the other one is a ploy.

  4. The Real Republicans

@ Joy Richards, stop destroying the RPOF? You mean the same people that supported Crist and Greer? That RPOF? You mean the same RPOF that still doesn’t have hardly any offices open to help McCollum and Rubio that RPOF? Give us a break! Thank God there are people like Javier that put these people in check! Joy, sorry if Javier and other are exposing you establishment types. Get used to it! Go Javier!!!

  5. This is just more prroof that Lowry cannot win this election. Vote for anyone but this shlep

  6. Lowry is a good speaker but has too much baggage. If all this has come out about him during a primary – think about what Debbie will find. Nice guy…but his background is riddled with questionable (at best) decisions.

  7. It’s obvious the only choice to beat Debbie is Karen Harrington. She’s squeaky clean, no campaign fraud, no medicare fraud, no pushy tactics…. just good old fashioned down home common sense with the tenacity of a bulldog to get things done.
Check her out, you’ll see she’s the best option.
I’ve met all three candidates, and the first impression I got from Lowry’s camp was “too slick”. I don’t doubt for a moment that they are doing what is claimed in this article. At the first “debate” a few months ago, all his supporters were dressed to the hilt, pushed their way through the crowds without even an “excuse me” or “oops, sorry”, They seemed arrogant and pushy, so even tho he said the right things, if he surrounds himself with people who act more like aggressive, conniving, do anything we can to win type people, I can’t trust that what he says is what he will do. We do not need any more rinos.
Go to Karenforcongress.com and find the calendar of events. Listen to her, then listen to the others. You’ll see the difference. If ever there was a grass-roots, from the bottom up(people rising up to fix government), she’s it. No fuss, no lies, not even a flip-flop, what you see is what you get.
one last word, vote in the 8/24 primary, there are many other elections besides this congressional fight.. There are judgeships, school board seats, etc. that are here at the local level where EVERYTHING ultimately starts. Lets get out and replace these progrssive socialists that have run our country/ county/cities into the ground. Get out and vote, volunteer for a favorite candidate too, it’s not too late!

  8. @ CFG, I also attended the debate and found Lowry to have a better command of the issues. I attended the debate to select a candidate. I witnessed none of what is described above. However, now that you have made manners an issue, I will describe my personal experience with Karen Harrington. At a Broward County GOP meeting Ms. Harrington was standing behind me. She spent the entire hour talking with another individual. It was very annoying as she was not paying attention and making it difficult for me to hear the speakers. I did not know who she was until the end of the meeting when I saw her name tag. I thought it very rude of her. However, I did not take that into consideration when I made my choice. Everyone has a bad day, after all.

Having worked at Lowry headquarters on several occasions, I am impressed by the the character of Mr. Lowry and his volunteers. At no time has an inappropriate comment been made about any individual. Looking to the future I am certain Mr. Lowry has the best chance of beating Debbie Wasserman Schulz. In a debate, DWS would obliterate Harrington or Milo. In any event. I wish all the candidates the best. Regardless of who wins the primary I will do my best to get them elected as the next representative of District 20.

@Joy richards is a FAKE! Reeks of Diva shenanigans if you ask me!

  10. As far as the gun range incident with Lowry goes, unless your an anti 2nd amendment person or believed Lowry intends to do real physical harm to Wasserman Schultz with a firearm, why would it offend you? Most who are offended by the incident are liberals who would never cast a vote a conservative anyway. Reasonable people realize it was a symbolization of defeating Wasserman Schultz in the electoral arena. Perhaps bad judgement, but I personally won’t write off a good conservative candidate because of it.

After listening to all 3 Republican challengers and reading some of their writings, it’s clear Lowry is the most articulate and polished of the group. Without a doubt Lowry would have the best chance to articulate conservative principals and make the best case to vote for him instead of the progressive Marxist establishment.

With that said, I would never have anything bad to say about Harrington or Milo just because I support Lowry. Should either of those candidates win the primary, they would have my support. The author of this article only bolsters Wasserman Schultz’s chances at successfully defending her seat, no matter who wins the primary. Shame on you for that.
