The 2010 election will go down in history books as a referendum against President Barack H. Obama and the Socialist-style agenda and government that he literally crammed down America’s throat. I speak in the past tense because from the looks of it, come November 3rd, the U.S. Congress will have a whole new look to it. But this sweeping overhaul of government does not stop at the Federal level, states across the nation will also experience these changes throughout their legislatures.
The Florida legislature has been plagued with Democrat-like thinking amongst Republicans who have run for office on a conservative platform and yet proceeded to cozy up to the Democrat party in an attempt make nice and get along. Well, times are changing, and they’re changing pretty quick. After Super Tuesday, Florida may very well have the strongest Conservative Republican Government leadership in its history. From the Governor’s mansion, the cabinet, and the legislature, Republican’s are poised to get back to conservative principles and draw a line in the sand against the Democrat Party in preparation for 2012.
Among those expected to be in the forefront of this conservative rival is incoming State Senate President Mike Haridopolos. Haridopolos is going to be one busy little bee when this election cycle comes to pass on November 3rd. I met up with Senator Haridopolos at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he is professor (A conservative professor, would you believe?) and chatted a bit about Marco Rubio’s rise, the importance of preserving state’s rights (Haridopolos supports and amendent to the U.S. Constitution to repeal Obamacare and other Socialist policies) and his future beyond the state senate. I tried my hardest to pry an answer out of Haridopolos as to which, if any, future political office he would pursue. Alas, your lovable and well honed El Sharko was not able to get an answer- however, he did mention the word ‘Congress’ several times…hmmmm. Watch the video interview!

I hope they override a bunch of Crist’s vetos. Most of them were vetoed just so Charlie could get votes.
Florida will be better off on the first day that Crist is no longer in office…
Haridopolos’s strategy of passing a new amendment to the US Constitution to repeal Obamacare is flawed. Rather, as a member of the State Legislature, he and his colleagues only need to enforce the existing amendments, especially the 10th amendment.
“Haridopolos is going to be one busy little bee” Is that some kind of euphemism for being “gay” because I just saw that guy on TV and he sounds absolutely flaming. Did y’all miss that? But, Ann Coulter is a former drag queen and “she’s” still in the GOP, so maybe you did. Get some “gaydar” people.
