Congressman Connie Mack (R-FL) says he “hasn’t made any decisions about the Senate” and would look at “other runs for office later”. Mack has been tight-lipped about his potential 2012 U.S. Senate run against incumbent Senator Bill Nelson, but he is quietly been gauging his support for a potential run for Senate with tea party groups and possible supporters across the state. Congressman Mack caught a lot of flack from the pro-legal immigration lobby when he compared Arizona with Nazi Germany after the passage of Arizona’s immigration law.

Congressman Connie Mack (R-FL) is a wishie washie guy who goes with the flow. He is not a leader he’s a follower and dose what his leadership tells him. I do not believe he is of the same caliber as Marco Rubio, Allen West, Mike Lee or Pat Toomey. I have not seen him at any Naples Tea Party rallies or meetings. And he has not reached out to any Naples Tea Party Leaders.
Congressman Mack-Bono is just as Willam says. We need a true conservative leader to run against Nelson. Bono-Mack is a true “politician” as was Christ. We do not need these people taking up room in the Senate any longer.

Connie Mack would be another Mel Martinez or John McCain. If that’s what you want; I Don’t and will not vote for him even in the general election. No More RINO’s!
His remarks on Arizona’s SB1070 caused my opinion of him to sink lower. I was very surprised to see him make those remarks. It showed complete ignorance and pandering. It showed that at times he is not a true statesmen. A true statesmen, whether he agreed with SB1070 or not would not make remarks distorting the content of the bill.
I also saw an interview a while back where Congressman Mack didn’t seem to be terribly articulate. He’s seemed ok since then.
I’ve admired his libertarian stances on items like the tax cut compromise and the Patriot Act.
I’m not sure why people like to talk about his wife so much. She’s a nice lady and apparently has excellent constituent services even though she is not the most committed conservative.
So far I think George Lemieux is the best person up.
LeMieux!!! You’ve got to be kidding! He voted for “Finance Reform” with Obamanation and the New Farm Bill, a NWO grab of small farmers and maybe even YOUR vegetable garden. We’ll have to wait to see how Dept. Agriculture or FDA “writes” the rules. No matter you aren’t controlling your food choices anymore, thanks to LeMieux.
What a Loser. A Charlie Crist Look Alike. Rino.
With His Stance ( NONE) Against Illegals, He has No Chance of Making it thru the Republican Primary here in Florida.
I can’t say Congressman Connie Mack (R-FL) is a RINO. But he sure as hell dosn’t inspire me like Allen West. As much as I would like to get him out of my district I wouldn’t want to wish him on the rest of our State.
Run Allen Run, Run Allen Run, Run Allen Run, Run Allen Run
GO WEST
Pleezzzzzzzzzzzze don’t do this to our state. We need Connie Mack like we need Obama one more term!!! Enough already!!!
Just what we DON’T need, another inept legacy poilitician. He’s a loser. I met him years ago when he ran for the State House in Broward, then couldn’t make the House from here so he moved to the West Coast. He’s a sandwich shy of a picnic.
Jeb Bush could easily put us out of our Bill Nelson misery. It would be one sure-fire way to forever quash the Jeb for President noise.
Do not run Connie Mack! Will not vote for you! Let us get some new blood.
