Rep. Hasner’s “shariah compliant” comment received strong applause and at least half the crowd gave a standing O. Nearly 10 years after 9-11, it is encouraging to see that politicians seeking office are finally speaking to their constituents as adults about the very real threat that islam poses to the US. While Zudi Jasser names the problem as “political islam” (and islam bills itself as a complete system, encompassing religeon, politics, law, war, and societal norms), I have been more apt to agree with Robert Spencer that the issue is really fundamentalist islam, or orthodox islam. “Shariah compliant” pretty much nails it though. Regardless, the 5th column subversives CAIR, ISNA, and MSA can’t point to a single place in the world where islam is practiced that any freedom-loving American wouldn’t find completely repulsive.
While I believe the religeous component of islam is protected by the Constitution and has every right to be practiced in America, we must be mindful of the islamicists’ true intent to subvert the US, using the very freedoms we love, and have paid for so dearly, against us through creeping-Shariah by means of lawfare and taqqiya.
Rep. Hasner will make a fine candidate. He will no doubt be demonized for his views on shariah, but when you’re taking flak, you know you’re over the target.

courage of conviction, you are correct islam is a great threat to the US and we need to treat it as such not kiss it’s ass. I will vote for you just for that
Here we go again. “Sharia-compliant” may get applause but this only shows the ignorance of Adam Hasner and his audience. “Sharia” is part of the trilogy that is
Islam. Sharia and Jihad are political arms of the civilization of Islam. If you take the time and make the effort to read the Quran, Hadith, and Sira you will know I speak the truth. Islam is unbending and very dangerous. You, as a unbeliever, will convert or be subjugated and pay a Jizya Tax or failing these two options Islam will make war on you and kill you. These are the commands of Allah through Mohammed. This is the truth of Islam. I suggest books on Islam by Robert Spencer and abridged versions of the Quran for the beginner.
