If Nelson is hiding a reporter in one closet, which one is he using to hide his skeletons?
I have written him multiple times. The latest was on the hugh speed train. I got back some BS that it “free” money and that private companies would pay for any operating losses or cost overruns. In other news, the Easter Bunny is almost here.
The cancer in Washington is eating away the moral fiber Americans used to be so proud of. Corporations and special interest groups own our politicians and their main concern is profit. They have no conscience or sense of patriotism. They are not prejudice when it comes to buying either party. Human rights issues, communism, democracy and other oligarchies don’t come into play where profit is concerned. It is up to people like you and I to be the conscience, guardians and defenders of democracy not corporations or special interest groups. If we don’t start coming together soon and focusing on our own problems, borders and national security someone else will take away our freedoms and rights. Get involved in Politics or be a victim of it.
I cannot conceive that there is even ONE intelligent citizen in all of Florida that would voluntarily cast his ballot for the vile incumbent Sen. Nelson.
I don’t personally care what he may be or may not be hiding, the simple fact that this elitist, I’m a US Senator, left ist, statist, big government liberal used his influence as a sitting Senator to sponge off the US tax payers by taking a joy ride on the space shuttle should have been enough to get him fired long ago. That and the fact that he supports Obama on just about everything should be enough to boot him for good.

I quite agree. The problem is that Nelso has a solid lock on all the stupid ones, and I think they outnumber the rest of us.
I cannot wait to get rid of this buffoon in 2012. Start packing your bags, Bill Nelson! Even foreign newspapers like London’s Daily Mail are reporting this shocking story. You have been a blight on our state for far too long!!
I remember Nelson when he was a congressman from my district. He had wrangled himself a position to where he had some say over appropriations. He informed NASA he wanted to fly on the shuttle. He was told they had no room for non-scientific crew.
Nelson then informed NASA that he would fly on the shuttle,or, he (Nelson) would see to it that NASA’s funding was cut.
After that, he decided not to run for re-election from this district (where everyone knew what he had done) and run for statewide office where people didn’t know what a blackmailer he was (and still is).
Yes, yes………Nelson has to be defeated. I agree with all the contributor’s comments above. I have written emails & letters to him and it is weeks before a reply and THEN he says NOTHING..and never comments on my questions. Florida just doesn’t need this guy filling a seat in the U.S. Senate. He is simply a clone of Obama…and nothing more.
Yes, it would be wonderful to get rid of Nelson but so many uneducated voters just go in and vote without being informed. They are the main problem in this country.
Is this reporter to dense to understand that if this truly happened he has grounds to file for kidnapping or unlawful detainment?
I put little past Bill Nelson and his team. I was very disappointed when Connie Mack declined to run against this ultra lib, anti American worker politician!
I am waiting to find out who I can support in a run against him. B.N. is no friend of Floridas’ American Citizens.
I too have written Sen. Nelson on a number of critical issues. I too only get some gobledegook responses, incoherent or off subject, susumed by Cliché after Cliché.
Florida, can’t you do better?
I’ve lived in FL since 1972 and had NO idea that Nelson did that, Bobby Lynch. I hope that the RNC publicizes Nelson’s shenanigans during the campaign. How dare he blackmail ANY group depending on financing. Moreover, how dare he take a “ride” on a space shuttle at OUR expense. Have written to him on several issues, and just as Rick Caird had said he received, we received a letter full of garbage re: “free money”, etc., makes me think Nelson has an “investment ” in the high speed rail. We MUST remove him from office in 2012.

Nelson has backed the secular progressive dems/Obama agenda and needs to be replaced with someone who will represent Florida’s interests and stop this out of control spending in the U.S. congress.

What got me about the story is that the reporter went BACK in the CLOSET after the speeches .. I would have told them like hell .. or called from the closet in the first place to report a kidnapping/imprisonment. I too have written to Nelson — if you do get a response it is either on another totally different matter or basically a form letter telling you that he will do what ever HE wants. That is not representing .. that is ruling and frankly I think people have had enough of that (at least I would hope they have).

Why did Sen. Bill Nelson, Florida, push so hard for the hi speed commuter train ? I’ll bet if you look real hard there’s something in it for Bill and his buddies. Why did Sen Nelson support Florida’s taxpayer’s spending 3 times the value of U.S. Sugar’s land ? Why does Sen Nelson support Big Sugar subsidies? Bet you if you look real hard there’s something in it for Bill and his buddies. I think we all should go back to Sen Nelson’s first political campaign through to 2011 and scrutinize what and why Sen Nelson supported each and every little thing. Bet you Sen Nelson and his buddies benefitted greatly from most Now add up the cost of every little thing Sen Nelson supported, passed into law or not. You will see why our country and most States are broke, our kids are graduated without being educated, and why Sen Nelson and his buddies live the “good life”.
To back up Mr. Caird’s comment, I too got the same response from Nelson on the high speed rail. As a matter of fact, I get responses from the senator all the time that make me want to puke. I hope the president doesn’t stumble in his walk or Nelson might have poo on his face. My point is this: you like socialist policy vote for these two in 2012. If you want to save your country and your freedoms, vote for their opposition.
I HAVE WRITTEN SEN NELSON MANY TIMES. I TOLD HIM I WAS ANGRY THAT HIS ONE VOTE STOPPED THE NATIONA WIDE CONCELAD CARRY LAS THUNE VITTER AMENDMENT. HIS RESPONSE WAS THAT HE DIDNT FEEL IT WAS RIGHT THAT THE FEDERAL GOVT TELL STATES WHAT THEY SHOULD DO, HUMMM! I WONDER WHY HE VOTED FOR THE OBAMA CARE BILL. MY WIFE IS A DISABLED VETERAN WHO WAS PHYSICALLY AND VERBALLY ABUSED BY A VETERANS AFFAIRS DOCTOR DURING HER C&P PHYSICAL AFTER SHE WAS WAS MEDICALLY RETIRED FROM THE US NAVY. THE DOCTOR VIOLATED THE US CODE OF REGULATIONS AND I ASKED SEN NELSON TO HELP US WITH HER CASE. HE DID NOTHING EXCEPT WRITE A LETTER TO US SAYING HE WAS LOOKING IN TO THE MATTER. HE ACTUALLY SAID TO THE VA REGIONAL OFFICE THAT HER CASE SHOULD BE DRAGGED OUT AS LONG AS POSSIBLE RATHER THAN ASSIST US. ANOTHER WORDS HE NOT LONLY DID NOT HEL P US HE ACTUALLY HAS MADE IT SO HER CASE AFTER 4 YEARS HAS STILL NOT BEEN RESOLVED. THE VA REP SAID IN CONFIDENCE THAT THE SENATOR HAS SIDED WITHT E VA REGIONAL OFFICE HEAD AND LIED TO US INSTEAD. HE IS A PERFCT EXAMPLE OF SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN TAINED BY THE LOBBYSITS WHO ARE CROOKS LIARS AND THEIVES AND SEN NELSON HAS WILLINGLY TAKEN THEIR MONEY TO SAY IN POWER. HE DOES NOT REPRESENT THE VOTERS OF FLORIDA, BUT RATHER THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND UNONS IN WASHINGTON DC AND THE FAT CAT LOBBYISTS. IT IS TIME FOR HIM TO GO TO SAY THE LEAST. HE IS APERFECT EXAMPLE OF “ONE OF THE GOOD OLE BOYS”
Senator Nelson’s time in Washington has come and gone. He looks like your typical politician who never wants to relinguish power. A politician who says was he has to, to get elected, and then do the opposite of what he promised.
Writeing to Nelson on a subject of importance is the same as writeing to a fence post, you get the same responce.
Let us not forget Nelson’s speach to the democrats in Tallahassee after the 2008 election saying that cap and trade was needed to pay for healthcare. Anything he and hid mob can profit on as we suffer he does. His DC office denied Nelson ever said that. I said it is on video. Oh.
We want a full financial investigation into Nelson’s finances from before he was elected to his defeat in 2012. Also check his investments and boards he was on or associated with.
We know he lied to us consistently and power was not the reason, he was electable and powerful. Now with the resident of the White House good old where’s the birth certificate Obama firmly attached to Nelson’s nose; and with the knowledge of the crooks and communists Obama has put in charge of the USA, that leaves us to wonder if Nelson is also a communist and not just a criminal.
While the Republicans are in charge they need to do something about voter qualifications. Maybe not allowed to vote if you depend on government aid to live. So many leaches are allowed to vote, that someday soon it won’t make any difference in what the Constitution says.
Knowing that Nelson had actually been on a shuttle mission, I was appalled and could not believe that he did nothing to save NASA’s space flight program and the Space Coast. Reading what Bobby Lynch had to say as to how that happened, makes me dislike this smarmy Politian even more. The pictures of him partying with Obama and all their influential friends at Kennedy Space Center just before they laid off 3,000 workers, will always come to my mind.

It is a sad shame that Bill Nelson has lasted as long as he has. His best trick for longevity has been a message that Republicans will, not might, or want to, but will take away your social security, but I will fight for you if you keep me in office. Mr. Nelson always votes the party line, indicating that he is not capable of thinking for himself much less representing his constituents. It is time to retire Mr. Nelson before he gets any more powerful, and perhaps an amendment to our state constitution requiring term limits for the office of U.S. Senate.
Senator Nelson appeared on my radar after he ignored his responsibility to Floridians and backed Reid every turn. Futher, he voted to use the US Militiary during time of War to promote the Gay rights agenda. His actions words of State’s rights fell deft upon me when he voted to nationalize healthcare, yet resist calls for standardizing “Concelled Weaspons” permitting. When Floridians called for Senator Nelson to adopt the same healthcare he voted to impose on Floridians, he ignored and side stepped the request. What did he do for the Manned Space program? This Senator does not desire to represent Florida.
Writting to Senator Nelson is like writting to a wall. The only difference is , you get an answer from the wall.

That proves there are many voters in Florida who are not very intellignet citizens.
