President Obama’s recent assertion that the world is primed for a “global recession” if we do not raise the national debt ceiling is the latest in campaign rhetoric fear-mongering coming from our commander-in-chief. To get another opinion on the matter, I asked Congressman Allen West about President Obama’s latest debt-ceiling position, to which he found it “hypocritical of the President when in 2006, Senator Obama ‘talked about how raising the debt ceiling was a failure in leadership,that we were kicking the can down the road and placing a financial debt/burden on our children and grandchildren.”
West added that if we were to raise the debt ceiling, it would have to be coupled with meaningful spending cuts and control measures to ensure that raising the debt ceiling does not become an necessity in the future.
One issue that has receded in the news of late but still very important is the looming threat from ‘Red China’. While the Chi-Coms continue to gobble up our economy and our debt, China continues their rapid military build-up- a build-up that many fear is premised on territorial expansion.
West is very well-versed and up to speed on growing and imminent threat from the east, and he offers the intriguing insight that “a Communist country has learned how to use Capitalism and the free market as a weapon against us” and that North Korea’s military is essentially operating with impunity against South Korea because China will continue to provide cover to North Korea to engage in acts of aggression against countries not presently aligned with China.

Dear Allen West,
I’m reaching out to you for your help and support. As someone who I feel will not turn me away. As someone who knows freedom does not come sheep in anyway as fighting for our country.
I’m trying to address something that, “NO ONE” dares to touch or wants to even address. And that is, fraud in our government. As I’m a victim, to that cause. I don’t know what is worse then losing your freedom to a war or losing your freedom in the United States of America by fraud. I ask, is the one better then the other? Does one, over take the other? The answer should be “NO”.
The truth is, they both hurt and hurt lives too. They take away from those who have worked for there country too. Citizens who have lost their rights as to their freedoms under our own laws. While those enjoying their freedom as taken away from those under fraud and perjury. And yet, have “No Shame” doing it. Truly hurts, and hurts those knowing they lost their freedom and knowing “NOT ONE PERSON” will be “Man Enough” to take the stand and address this issue. Just makes me suck, and hurt me even more when I know our children are also being hurt as victims to this fraud too. My gut hurts, when I hear nothing being done as addressing this cause.
Perhaps, woman are much stronger then men after all. Since, not one man in congress has stud up for this issue and truly put a stop to it, too.

@Richard L Sharp – I hope I’m wrong, but because Trump has already stated that if he runs as a Republican and doesn’t get the nomination, he will run as an Independent (splitting the conservative vote just as Ross Pirot did… which is what forced Clinton on us), I’m afraid he is a spoiler. He’s a good businessman, but aside from that he and Obama equally share in the traits of overblown ego and narcissism. He knows nothing about being Commander in Chief, and also carries some childish traits like his petty bickering back and forth with Rosie O’Donnell (not at all mature, or professional). Not to mention his lack of loyalty to his vows, which doesn’t say much for his character as far as I’m concerned. As far as his having the courage to stand up to Obama, I think that most Americans would love to have that chance (if they had Trump’s money to pursue it).
On the other hand, we have Cong. Allen West, who (even without political experience) has more intelligence, military experience, honor, knowledge of the issues, patriotism, self-confidence (not to be confused with the egotistic traits of many other politicians) than other potential candidate I’ve seen in many years. I hope he runs for President!
I used to say, and have heard and read that “Time is Running Out” for the USA, especially financially. Today Standard & Poors downgraded the US Financial Rating.

There are also comments following the article (CNBC); So it gets a cross section of the USA. Too many are Socialists,Bush Bashers (even though he deserves some bashing), or Head in the Sanders (nothing wrong) to get any meaningful Government Spending Cuts accomplished in the next 2 years.

The Debt Ceiling should not be raised, the interest payments can be paid off the top and what’s left after interest payment is what the Government lives on. The Debt Ceiling even with Republican cuts will continue to rise and require raising again and again.
The real control will come from the world markets, not US politicians.

Better check out his prior campaign contributions.
Info on this “link” concerning Donald Trump’s prior campaign donations makes me wonder if his donations were made for political “access” or were they made to support those (like Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton, Charlie Crist, Harry Reid, John McCain, National Republican Senatorial Committee) that Trump shares similar political views with?
Could any real conservative give money to those libs in good conscience under ANY circumstances? Is Trump a trojan horse?

Haven’t seen this subject come up in his interviews.
I am a little scepical about Donald Trump and his motivations. He is tied in to a lot of people in power and other things. Colonel Allen West is my choice. He is a stand up regular guy–a man of the people. Donald has a lot of baggage.
