I have seen both me speak in person … small setting and Hasner is the person who I would vote for …I would not vote for LeMieux. LeMieux when in the senate had a terrible score on his voting from NumbersUSA … we do not want or need an AMNESTY SENATOR! No more RINO’s. Also LeMieux while stating once that he “admired” the TEA Party … did not come out and support the movement like Hasner did … unafraid (it was a Republican party event). TEA!
Again Cat, you are quoting Numbers USA, and if anyone bothers to go there, you’ll see the only rollcall vote they show during the time Lemieux was in the Senate, he voted in the way they recommended. So that makes his voting record 100%, doesn’t it? You consider that terrible?
Your disingenuous prattle indicates a blindspot in your politics, perhaps in your education or understanding, and reflects negatively on your choice of candidate. I don’t think either of the guys in the legislature who have announced are ready for prime time. It is imperative today that we elect candidates who know what they are doing, not just talking a good game. Neither Haridopolos or Hasner will get my vote. It is over a year before the primary and I’m already tired of their bloviations.
Thank you Cindy! I am a big supporter of Mike Huckabee, but when he sent me a “personal letter” asking me to support Haridopolos, I was disappointed because it revealed that Huckabee is playing politics as usual. I can’t see myself supporting any of these guys for the senate seat. I’m waiting for someone who is *not* a career politician, someone with guts like Allen West, to get behind for the senate seat.
Adam Hasner is looking good right from the start. Let’s see how he stands up over the long haul. I like what I see…
Agree with your assessment of LeMieux and being the Charlie Crist clone. But I do think he is more Conservative than Crist, and likely that was how Crist was going to change his stripes. It didn’t work for me.
What is LeMieux’s _electoral_ resume? Would this be his first election?
Cindy, Lemieux has a “C” on immigration from Numbers USA. Is that the BEST we can do? Maybe for you, Not for me. I have seen his Progressive soul on other votes like “Financial Reform” and “Agriculture Reform”. Any “reform” laws sponsored by the Dimicrats/Obama are Socialist/Progressive and only get RINO support like from LeMieux.
Hasner is a much more Constitutional Conservative candidate hands down, unless you like the go along get along crowd.
How about McCalister?

I have grave concerns thinking we have to support either candidate. I will never support Pepe Lepew cause everything he touches stinks of Socialist Big Government and Control over the people. He thinks he’s a god sitting on Olypus, voting for the Stimulus Package as “The Traitor of the Week” only Republican to do so and then make speeches against it. I’m sure he did so as the former CSX Lobbiest and the Stimulus had Charlies “RAIL Money” in it. He then turns against the Constitution and even the Supreme Court and co-sponsors the “Beligerence Act” which would remove unalienable rights, like that of a jury trial, Marranda rights, right to have a lawyer, incarceration of U.S. citizens by the Military and the authority of the CIA to move you abroad for questioning, undoubtedily torture. All of which specifically identified U.S. Citizens within the borders of the United States. He doesn’t deserve a vote for Dog Catcher and will never represent my beliefs in the Constitution and our Unalienable Rights. Big brother is watching, just like Fl. state Senator Mike Bennett pocketing the ban on red light cameras, they always know what is best for you and their pocket book.
Ernest, Lemieux lost a race for a Florida House of Representative seat to the incumbent Democrat in, I believe, 1994. The district was mostly in Ft. Lauderdale.
Remember. LeMieux = Crist. Who wants a Charlie Crist like Florida U.S. Senator ? Democrat liberals and progressives do !
Remember: LeMieux=Crist=progressivism=disaster for Florida and the USA.
