Day of the Living Dead- Zombies Protest Outside Congressman Webster’s Office

April 30, 2011

by Javier Manjarres

Unidentified zombies took to the streets and staged a protest outside of Congressman Daniel Webster’s Office in Winter Garden on Thursday.  Zombies from shadowy new group going by the name of “Organize Now” terrified passersby as they staged a frightful protest in opposition to Congressman Webster and his support of Congressman Paul Ryan’s Budget, aka the “Roadmap”.

The Zombies were in agreement that they couldn’t “live with” the spending cuts in the Ryan Plan, but they couldn’t quite come up with a coherent answer as to how much longer our creditors will continue to lend us money to pay for the entitlement plans that they assume will be around when it’s their time to return to the grave.

In any event, we hope our zombie friends will take a closer look at the Ryan Budget plan and reconsider their flawed assumption that lead to a “dead-end” future…

Slight correction: they zombied his office in Winter Garden, not Winter Haven.
Winter Haven is not even in his district.

I guess you don’t get a paycheck like I do. For forty years I’ve been paying for those “entitlements,” as you call them – not borrowed money from somewhere else (China?) you think paid for my grandparents’ and parents’ Medicare and Social Security. In fact, my tax was doubled during Reagan to cover any problems with coverage for the baby boomers that would start retiring after 2000. Go look it up, if you don’t have a pay stub to peruse. If you DO have a pay stub, that’s what those deductions are about – Social Security and Medicare.
