On this day of remembrance, Congressman Allen West joined the millions of Americans who have taken part in remembering the cowardly terrorist acts of September 11, 2001 by honoring those who lost their lives on that fateful morning. West addressed the the St. Paul Lutheran Remembrance BBQ in Boca Raton, Florida, where he presented one of the American Flags that flew over the nation’s capital to the church.
In echoing what Congressman West and many others have said, and continue to say- “we must never forget.”

Every time I read or hear Representatives remarks my respect and admiration for him grows. I pray he will choose to run for an office for which I can give him my vote and work to get others. This man is the President we hoped for and did not get. God be with you and yours sir. Continue the good fight!

Allen West is one of my modern day HEROES ! ! ! Wish he would run on the presidential ticked as VP. A true AMERICAN, who has served his country with distinction and honorably; as I said, A TRUE AMERICAN.
We should have it written into our Constitution, that any candidate for government, and INDEED for the presidency MUST HAVE SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES. George Washington did, why not his successors. It is the truest measure of devotion to place your life at risk to defend our country and her people.
As I said, Allen West is a TRUE American. God bless him, God bless America ! ! !

Thank you for your service to this great cou try…and for loving freedom and the Constitutiom…I wish we had you to represent us here in California…we need some common sense brought to the Golden State..Please know that there are many, many of us throughout the US that need you to continue the fight…and even tho’ we kknow it’s hard..stay as a member in the Black Caucus and be the one single light of honesty and intebrity in that snakepit of a group..I appreciate you, and thank you for your very valuable service..
I echo all the wonderful comments about Allen West. He is, indeed, a true American and has his head screwed on right. However, I do not believe it is time for him to take the leap into either the President or Vice Presidential position. While he is getting great name recognition here in Florida, I do not think he is well know outside the state. I believe he is qualified to serve, but without name recognition, could he get elected? If Rick Perry, or Sarah Palen were to pick him as a VP running mate, that would make an awesome team.
