  1. Sandman says:

I don’t agree with this congressman at all. Romney has remained constant and steady throughout the primary process thus far. To write him off is foolish. If Romney is written off because of Romneycare then Perry needs to be dismissed for Mexican tuition, sorry. I’m not a supporter of Romney but at this point I don’t care what he did in Mass., hell, those liberals probably pressured him for it. He says he’ll repeal Obamacare and I believe him.

Can anyone really believe Cain if elected would be able to push through his 999 plan? C’mon! Lowering the corp tax rate to 9% and having seniors on fixed incomes pay 15% sales tax? The liberals would have a hissy fit, there would be civil war. Even a minority in congress could stop it.

I’m giving Gingrich a second look, I like his 21st century contract with America.

    • kage says:

Sandman, I like the civil war idea. Maybe we could split the country into the takers and the producers. The takers would go to work or starve and the producers would make the most properous and powerful nation since the United States.

      • Sandman says:

Truth is I’d be happy with any of the GOP candidates except Ron Paul or Jon Huntsman. I also expect rioting in the streets when BamBam is thrown out of the White House.

        • Ms. Dorothy Persiflage says:

I exactly agree with you, Sandman. Paul is nuts 25% of the time; Huntsman is a democrat in republican clothes.

          -Do

          • kage says:

            Dorothy,
Mitt Romney and Gov Cristie are what we call RINOS. They could not have been elected to the Governorships of Mass. and New Jersey unless they were. They both would be much better than Obama but, they would not change D.C. and they would not change the welfare and redistribution mentality which pervades our once great nation. I honestly believe Herman Cain and Newt Gigrich, in any order, are the best leaders and serious thinkers available and they are honest to goodness conservatives.

  2. Joy richards says:

At least Chris Christie ADMITS that he is not yet prepared for the Presidency, unlike CAIN who WAS a FED chairman AGAINST a CONGRESSIONAL AUDIT of the FED and CEO of a pizza enterprise. CAIN’s RATIONAL BEING THAT THE FED AUDITS ITSELF. LIKE THE FOX WHO GUARDS THE HENHOUSE! A person with no relevant experience in the job skills necessary to run for that huge job should not be elected in any forum just because of one speech and a catchy jingo.(see Obama)I can’t believe they are falling for that schtick again. What will it take? The total destruction of our country for people to wise up?
As for immigration let me quote a blogger named DVL:
Perry has pumped over a half billion dollars of Texas tax payer money combating a Federal problem, illegal immigration
Perry has put both the national guard and Texas Rangers on the border
Perry pushed,as an emergency item to ban sanctuary cities
Perry joined Arizona in its lawsuit against the Federal government
As for in state tuition it is a STATE issue to be decided by State legislatures and in the case of Texas the measure passed overwhelmingly.
PS Perry WANTS to AUDIT the FED,they have devalued our currency and have hurt millions of innocent families, that is why the Founders thought treason and the devaluing of currency were executionable offenses. The Founders sure knew what they were doing.Don’t mess with Texas or the Constitution.

  3. David Crespo says:

I disagree with the Congressman on all fronts. No matter what the media tells us, there is no front runner. All the candidates deserve our time to listen to them.

  4. Joey Myers says:

I find it excruciatingly dis-heartening to see anyone use Ron Paul’s lies against Cain to promote Perry.
“CAIN who WAS a FED chairman”…of a very small regional office in which he had zero to do with policy, or banking at all. He ‘managed’ staff for a very short period of time two and a half decades ago…at a time when Perry was an extremely zealous Progressive Democrat.
The further arguments against Cain are just as absurd. I’d support Perry in a heartbeat…but not if he talked like a sandbagging, party backstabber like this.

    • donnafrflorids says:

The dems want Perry and Romney. Just like they wanted McCain. They can reuse all the same ole arrows they have time and time again. Repubs are racist. Repubs hate the poor. Cain comes from humble beginnings. They can’t use racism or class warefare. But here is the real kicker… Cain CAN solve problems. He transcends politics by presenting COMMON SENSE solutions. America is in a mess. Career partisan politicians GOT US HERE!!! We can NOT let the Republican talking heads or the dems give us the next candidate. Obama will never win a debate with Cain. The man is about as classy as you can get. He DOES NOT NEED OR USE TELEPROMPTERS.
And since Palin and Cain are cut from the same cloth, I honestly believe her supporters will become his.
      Cain 2012/2016

  5. Lightweight says:

Congressman Vern Buchanan mentioned what everyone thought but he and the others have never questioned where the US Constitution stands on any of the issues mentioned. The 2 Party Political Rule will treat the People as slaves on 1 more election. All the GOP ever promises is the next election.

  6. Toni Parsons says:

Patriot 4 Cain: I usually agree with Buchanan but not this time. What was he drinking to make such an outgageous comment. I agree with all the positive comments made about Herman Cain. Bill O’Reilley rules Cain out because “didn’t know much about foreign affairs”. Any man who thinks he can know all about every issue in this complex world is a fool. Herman Cain has the common sense of a good CEO who doesn’t have to know every answer to every question but know how to select and motivate the experts who do. I am aboard the Cain Train.

  7. Andrew says:

I like Perry. He is such a cute niggerhead.

  8. Rich Angley says:

THIS IS A REFERENDUM ON THE NEW WORLD ORDER…Don’t say you never voted on this issue. Vern’s a nice guy but he is also an insider. I think that the only reason Cain did so well in the Fl straw poll is that only he and Newt addressed the delegates before the vote, all the others sent representatives. Cain gave a really good speech and many of the delegates who appeared to be Perry supporters before the vote, switched to Cain. Just my opinion, but if you notice, even Newt jumped up in that poll. He also gave a great speech. As a Ron Paul supporter, I have to admit, I was disappointed that my candidate did not speak before the vote. This is why I think the others who also did not speak did poorly. Personally, I support Ron Paul because I think that this election is really a referendum on the NEW World order. Any candidate with ties to the establishment, banking, military industrial complex or moneyed class is just there to represent the globalist cartels pulling the strings for world governance. Don’t be fooled by made men who have the support of the controlled media. Vote for the only candidate who will end the reign of the elites. The one the media hates. They truly fear his constitutional principles. Free America, vote RON PAUL!!!!!

    • Tea Party Conservative Republican says:

Ron Paul is a clown. Would I vote for him over Obama? Of course! It’s ANYBODY BUT OBAMA! The sad thing is Paul will not support the Republican nominee, but a third party candidate, like he has in the past. These Ron Paul supporters are as crazy as crazy can be. If something happened to Paul before the election (he would be 77 when taking office) their choice becomes Gary Johnson. What a group of misfits! A conservative vote is a vote for Godly principles.

      • Rich says:

I would respond if you made an argument, but I don’t see one. Paul supporters at least understand why they support their candidate and can articulate what it is that conservatives want to conserve. That is the constitution. Without the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, America is just some real estate that the globalists are going to own someday. Its the Constitution stupid!!!!With out it we are nothing.

        • Tea Party Conservative Republican says:

You Ron Paul people are sooooo much smarter than everybody else! Your quote “Its the Constitution stupid!!!!With out it we are nothing”. Well there’s some of us “stupid” people, like myself, that believe “Its the Bible” (but I’ll leave out stupid) which is the backbone of The Constitution. Usually people can start off having a reasonable conversation with “Paulies”, but then you try to take peoples minds over a cliff.

  9. Tea Party Conservative Republican says:

Let’s think about this for a minute. Another “Republican Establishment” person (Vern Buchanan) trying to elevate other “establishment” candidates. It’s time to primary this clown with a tea party conservative! The establishment wanted Crist, the voters wanted Rubio, the establishment wanted McCollum, the voters wanted Scott, the establishment wanted Haridopolos, the tea aprty conservatives chased him out of the race saying “Anybody But Haridopolos”! Thank God for tea party conservatives!

Witness tampering, obstruction of justice, and bribery are all in a day’s work for the ethically challenged Rep. Vern Buchanan.

The Sarasota congressman orchestrated an elaborate scheme that forced his employees to contribute to his campaign, ensuring they would be illegally reimbursed with corporate money.

Doubling down on the criminal behavior, he attempted to bribe a former business partner with almost $3 million in hush money in a clumsy attempt to cover up the conspiracy.

Rep. Buchanan is a three-term member of Congress, representing Florida’s 13th district. He was included in CREW’s 2008 and 2009 Most Corrupt Reports for related matters.

  10. Dane says:

Isn’t it facinating that when push comes to shove, we can’t find better candidates than those who generally step forward.

I suffer from inadequate information on Cain’s 9-9-9 plan. Would that mean that in Florida’s Sarasota County, the sales tax might be as high as 20%? (11% for the state and county, 9 for the feds?)

I’m all for a flat tax, I loved the plan Steve Forbes offered a few years ago. For 2012 I like Mitt, irrespective of his Romneycare. And I like Cain. Maybe a Romney Cain ticket would work?
