PLEASE proof READ your documents. Using spellcheck does not proof anything BUT spelling; grammar must be considered. When you send out grammatically incorrect documents, it lends less validity to your statements. In today’s email alone, I offer the following as examples: “…to countering the drug cartels- he take the fight to them.” Folks, you sound like an ILLEGAL! Additionally, look at your spacing with the hyphen: there should be a space after “cartel” and before the hyphen if you have a space after the hyphen and before “he” or no spaces. Be consistent in your writings, please. FL is slammed enough for poorly educated folks – don’t prove it to be so.

Connie Mack is a wussie RINO pandering to sound bites.Elect him and you deserve the federal amnesty that will surely come. It’s almost a done deal anyway as you saw in the wimpy Hardopolos State Senate sabotage of any meaningful illegal alien law.
And it’s not just this issue he is “progressive” on either!

Are there no patriots left in Florida? Not in the “political class” anyway.

  3. Michael J Church says:

Connie Mack is a strict constitutionalist and does not want “legal American Citizens” harrassed as a result of “more agressive” immigration legislation. But like any immigration legislation, there needs to be control of the flow of immigrants into the U.S. first. His position has not changed and parallels what Pres. Candidate, Newt Gingrich has been saying, “Not amnesty but a systemic approach to citizenship and an extensive background check for criminal activity. This is far from the instant legalization proposed by the Obama administration. This issue, far from controversial makes sense and does not exclude enforcement for illegal, criminal activities weighed against true earnest immigrants seeking to legitimize their presence in the U.S. for a better life.

Connie Mack is a strict bullshit artist only interesting in furthering his own career and running on his father’s good name. He likes the DC lifestyle and the “soft job” he has. He has been a congressional “nobody” for years. He is a moderate republican who changes his colors when the issue gets tough.

The Arizona law does not come close to doing what he claims it does. No one is hauled off to jail merely on suspicion of being here illegally. The only time anyone is asked for their papers is after they have been stopped for some other crime, and the police have to have a reason to suspect that the person might be here illegally. The law specially says that police cannot use ethnicity as a reason to ask for papers. It must be based on some evidence, such as not having a valid driver’s license when pulled over for a traffic stop. It is only 16 papers long, I would think that Mack could have read it if he did not know what was in it.

That’s a good one! “Systematic Amnesty” The “useful idiots” should lap that one up. RINO’s Unite under the Progressive Banner ! It worked sooo well for McLame in 2008.

Connie Mack and Marco Rubio are only consistent with the GOP Policy on Immigration that leads to Amnesty.

You People are Slaves if you make yourself believe the GOP is not for Amnesty. They are not just trying to get the Hispanic vote, they are form a NAU. Remember George “daddy” Bush’s excutive order 12803,NAFTA and the China Rail system the GOP is now blaming on Obama and the Democrats. You are fools to come to blogs like this and talk “conservative” politics. You need to stop “playing” politics because you are about to loose you country real soon.Connie Mack is GOP Amnesty Establishment.

    Reference Michael Church’s post.

If Mr. Mack’s approach is similar to Mr. Gingrich’s let’s hear Mr. Mack state it succinctly. Mr. Mack tends avoid tough issues by converting the topic to a broader approach and not answering the real issue. What do we do with the 11 million illegals who live in the U. S.? Hope he can answer it directly.

  6. harry houdini says:

Its a real shame that there are very few “real Republicans” left in the party. They are so afraid of losing to the Dems that they have abandoned true party platforms to curry favor with Hispanic voters and Grover. No, I don’t mean Grover from the Muppets, I mean the ego maniac, power hungry extortionist who runs around pretending to be a conservative Republican. First of all, Illegal immigration is ILLEGAL. Ok, if you want to move away from that “hard core” fact then why not have RECIPROCAL IMMIGRATION AGREEMENTS with other countries. We follow your immigration laws when determining the status of your citizens coming to our country and you follow our immigration laws in determining who wants citizenship in your country. How many countries would sign that agreement? NOT MANY!

  7. Peter Fusscas says:

If Mr. Mac embraces the Krieble Plan set forth by Newt then he has a chance at redemption. It calls for the deportation of illegals not signed up for a “guess worker program” and denies them citizenship until after they go to the bottom of the line. It also seals the border and deports all illegals with criminal history. Otherwise his ill considered reponse to the AZ. law will come home to bite him.

  8. harry houdini says:

True earnest immigrants go through the LEGAL PROCESS of which my good friend, there is one. It takes longer but the immigrants seeking citizenship LEGALLY, learn something about the history of the country they want to become citizens of, and learn enough English to make their transition easier and beneficial to their success. Mr. Church, have you ever been to a swearing in ceremony of new LEGAL US Citizens? Go and see for yourself what kind of immigrants these folks are besides being LEGAL. Its an eye opener!

  9. I find it amusing that political aspirants tend to change their outlooks based on the latest poll.

Having been extensively involved politically for many years, I have witnessed the fact that the electorate tends to vote in members of the U.S. Senate that reflect more than (1) party.

Mack is evidently on a foolhardy mission as is, but, his recent change of stance re the immigration issue in order for him to appeal to those who favor his latest stance is a major flip flop.

A flip flop in and of itself does not automatically disqualify a candidate, in my view , I cast my ballot based on the overall stance
of the candidate and the people that would most likely join the administration.

I ask of everybody would you consider it O.K to be asked for your papers as was done by the Nazis?

    • GenEarly says:

Only the Nazi’s, Comrade? Surely the Communists require “papers” too! Florida must be a prison state to require photo ID for voting, driving, etc. Open the gates! No ID’s for anyone. Illegals are only Undocumented, a trivial matter surely. And for a State to pass a law that mirrors neglected Federal Immigration Law is soooo suppressive. What’s your “overall stance” I couldn’t quite grasp your nuanced innuendo.

  10. Beano says:

There’s a National e-verify bill in the house (H. R. 2885)that needs 100 cosponsers for it to be voted on, so far Connie Mack won’t sign it, David Rivera Fl. (R) won’t sign it, even Mishele Bachmann hasn’t signed it but there all for immigration control?? There all lying polititians.

  11. Carlos says:

What “infuriates this FL conservative” is the fact we face the same problem as the Pres. race, no true conservative who’s viable. Hasner’s a lightweight who’ll get his butt kicked and Mack & LeMiuex are establishment RINOs. What the hell is wrong with this state that we can’t muster a real conservative to run a tough, gutsy campaign? The GOP has the same problem nationally and it looks like Gingrich & Romney will slug it out. At least Newt has more consrevtive credentials than the above mentioned. I believe he’d destroy Obama in
any debates. The rest will depend on the Obama media’s ability or inability to trash the GOP candidate and brainwash stupid Americans who are obsessed with telegenicity rather than substance.

  12. John Wright says:

Connie Mack’s run has ended before it starts! If we want a stance like that we would keep Nelson! Illegal immigration is a huge problem and what seperates the republicans from the democrats is law and order and ridding the USA of illegal occupiers as real conservatives advocate. Bye bye Connie. Nice while it lasted!

  13. John Wright says:

In answer to Carlos, we do have a real conservative fighter and that’s Mike McCalister!

  14. Betty says:

Sheriff needs to run for pres.

  15. Betty says:

sorry that sheriff Joe needs to run
