  1. Vin says:

And yet those were the very things that LeMieux and friends helped to cover up when Connie Mack ran for office the first time against Lynn Spinella Pagans! Back then he was Connie’s “friend” but those of us from South Florida who really know LeMieux know that he is only a friend to himself.

  2. Dee Williams says:

That remark about tea partiers was not too smart. I’m a tea partier and I consider myself pretty smart and politically knowledgeable and I had intended to support you.

  3. Yankeewhitebread says:

I intend to support Mack all the way! LeMieux is/was a loser!!!!

    • Lady Gator says:

Connie Mack iV is A RINO period, read his record(on illegal immigration, voting for billions ear marks, voted against human life 4X’s)and do your homework. He will never make it out of the primary, and he will lose his safe COngressional seat liek Katherine Harris did. How can a liberal like Connie Mack IV, a diehard Crist supporter, have a base in a Republican primary? He will not. Hasner is the only viable Republican who can beat Bill Nelson. Primary voters area all about substance over form or Name ID.

  4. Tina says:

LeMieux = Crist. George is such a PUNK! Go away little boy. Your 15 minutes of fame is over…

  5. Poor George says:

So Mack got in a fight in college nearly 20 years ago… Well George gave himself a 400K DOT contract the week after he left Crist’s office, lobbied Crist without registering, and made 100′s of thousands as Charlie’s hack all in the past 5 years.

  6. Letha says:

We have to focus on the issues. Who is running that will help the people of Florida, not good old boys supporting each other. Mike McCalister show he can do the job and has the answers to every issue that is facing Florida. Do your research and see what they bring to us and stop reading all the crap about who did this and who did that.

  7. James Nelson says:

I am ashamed to have to claim LeMieux as a Republican. He sounds a lot more like a Democrat with the personal attacks and no substance.

    • Helena says:

Exactly Lemieux SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF! HE’s behaving like the REAL SHARKS OF DEMOCRATIC PARTY! FIST FIGHTING when he was YOUNG! Ur just simply behaving
Iike a true “NEFARIOUS PIG”!!! Do U have have something better 2 say about Connie Mack, I DON’T THINK SO! LEMIEUX Why in the HECk U don’t STOP MAKING ” NIGGLING” STATEMENTS about IRRELEVANTS THINGS & GET 2 WORK & do something CONSTRUCTIVE 4 A NATION THAT IS TURNING TOWARD “NIHILITY” helena

  8. William A Yon says:

Thanks to LeMieux, as a Tea Partier and native Floridian I will be supporting Connie Mack. That letter says a lot more about LeMieux’s character flaws than Mack’s.

  9. Patriot says:

You betcha we’re supporting Mack! A vote for LeMieux is a vote for the turncoat Crist – BOTH Crist and LeMieux are all out for themselves and the heck with Floridians and Florida.

  10. Joy richards says:

I find it quite amusing at the inconsistency of Republicans. Fault the guy(Mack) for a divorce and then support as a Presidential candidate a guy with the exact same type of baggage.(Only even the baggage has baggage-in financial matters as well). Will the other bloggers please tell me what position to take on divorced candidates please? It is all about winning only or is it about consistency in one’s positions and moral life?Which is it?

  11. D. E. JUBB says:

SLANDER OF OPPONENT IS STANDARD ISSUE FOR SOCIALISTS. THIS IS HOW OBAMA GOT ELEVATED FROM COMMUNITY ORGANIZER TO IS STATE SENATE- THE US SENATE–THENCE TO THE WHITE HOUSE.

  12. Joy richards says:

These are public figures who are elevated above the rest of us and who we trust with our futures and it is only slander if the allegations are lies or not relevant to public policy performance. You still haven’ty answered the question. Why attack some and support others with the same type of baggage?Personal lives should not matter, but Mark Stanford was abandoned for marital problems even though his public record was laudable. Is it only about winning power or is it about core principles? The measure of a man is his behavior when he thinks no one is looking. How he handles power.

  13. Max says:

Joy, Politics is dirty and slimy. Negative campaign attacks work. D. E. Jubb is correct. It is not an issue of “being divorced” but an issue of “Cheating” on the person who is supposed to mean the most to you in the whole world. I don’t trust cheaters because they are all about instant gratification for themselves. They don’t have a conscious about who they hurt. Also, cheaters are cowards and if they can’t deal with their own personal issues, how are they going to deal with national and global threatening issues for their constituency? Connie Mack has lost his senate bid before and so many of the Voters are too ignorant to know that this is Connie Mack IV running, not his father. I don’t want a cheating, Hooter’s event planner representing me in D.C. So, you need to vote your conscious and moral beliefs. Integrity is what someone does when they think no one is watching. I would never vote for Newt Gingrich, another cheater, either (at least not in the Primary).

  14. Stan Lee says:

    Re: Connie Mack

Even the name appeals to me, I was a Phila. “A”s rooter in a previous life. (For those born after the “A”s moved from Phila., they are now the Oakland “A”s)

Apart from old-time major league baseball, you have to know from the get-go that Mack IV is kinda special….or the character assassins wouldn’t be doing their thing, instantly reacting to Mack’s announcement of candidacy.

I suppose he scares the heck out of them. That’s good!

  15. Joy richards says:

I will write in who I think should be President this time. I will vote my conscience not just because the primary voters tell me who to vote for. I sensed the red flags on Cain and was treated with rancor by the newbie Republicans.I cannot abide by Romney because of Bain Capital ,his total inconsistent positions on core principle issues and his failure as Gov of Mass. He conceded this failure in not even attempting a second term.Ron Paul is a wonderful man but perhaps too idealistic for this world. He would be a great Treasury Secretary.I thought I could go with Gingrich but I find that even his baggae has baggage. It was worse than I thought from an ethical standpoint. It will be a Republican but one I can be proud of.That man is Rick Perry.

  16. Lady Gator says:

Connie Mack IV is a R-I-N-O from the Crist wing of the party. An intellectually shallow political opportunist attempting to rise/capitalize on the Name ID of his father, Connie Mack III, a former U.S. Senator.

If Mack IV were entering the primary with his current undistinguished political record as Joe Smith, he would be polling at the very bottom.

Connie Mack IV, just last year, (so not a “youthful indiscretion”) endorsed our Do-Nothing RINO governor, Charlie Crist, over proven conservative, Marco Rubio for the U.S. Senate race. Even after Crist campaigned for, and hugged Obama publicly for Obama’s disastrous 1 trillion taxpayer funded stimulus to nowhere. How’s that for a fiscal conservative? How do you endorse Crist after watching Crist wreck the party for 4 years and raid the RPOF funds as your personal ATM in your quest for future office? Connie Mack IV did. This is exactly why a Washington insider such as Mack should not be the nominee. Connie Mack IV has an morally indefensible and fiscally irresponsible record supporting taxpayer funded Human Embryo research (destruction) 4X’s; which had he done his homework would know has never yielded a single success. Mack IV even voted to over ride Presdient Bush’s veto of this.

And here are Mack’s outrageous remarks about Gov. Jan Brewer siging a law to crack down on illegal immigraion and rein in rampant murder and crimes committed by illegals in Arizona, read about that here:

    http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/95123-mack-r-compares-ariz-law-to-nazi-germany

Mack compares Arizona Law to Nazi Germany. Why? He does not respect the Rule of Law? Is Mack IV pandering?

Sean Hannity has not done his homework on this one. He owns a house in Naples and knows Mack.

Adam Hasner is the only intelligent conservative who can beat Bill Nelson and be trusted to go to D.C. and responsibly represent our party.
