So what is the job of the Chairman of a committee? Does he not have any influence nor persuasion at all on the committee?
I sent an email to both the Chair and the Vice Chair yesterday so far I received a generic response from the Vice Chair telling me what district he represents (not mine) like I didn’t know that.
The Chairs, Mr. Weatherford, office has not replied to my questions as yet.
It doesn’t matter what district I live in as a Floridian I should be able to get questions answered by those that chair any committee in the Florida Legislature.
Allen West for V.P.
I agree with El Sharko and wrote an article on “Wheels on the Road” on this matter. Congrats to Javier for the excellence in publishing the truth and letting the chips fall where they may!
Problem is we have to many in Tally without the back bone to use their majority to benefit Conservatives. Do you think the Dems would have hesitated in using their majority to create a safe seat for their candidates. Victor and spoils baby….we deserve to retain Allen West in a safe seat.
To say otherwise make you a useful idiot!
Clarification: I wrote the article in Wheels on the Road not Javier…….brought to may attention

This “we had to follow the constitution and the will of the voters, so my hands were tied” mea culpa does not pass the smell test. Get a look at Congressional district 11, home to liberal Kathy Castor. This Gerry mander nighmare guarrantees her political career, and prevents any Republican challenge. This too is the work of the re-districting commission, who could have made a change that comports with the spirit and letter of the Constitutional Amendment, but DID NOT.
