It would serve GOP presidential and congressional candidates well if they were to watch youtubes of Allen West or spend time with him. In fact, it would benefit everyone to listen to West!
Allen West is constantly and consistently a man of His Word.
He is the best and very Wise!

Despite his Pigford vote, we have high hopes for him. We’ll see.
The congressman knows that fixed fortifications are easily overwhelmed, and mobility may be the key to success. The key issue for the conservative citizen, is to keep the congressman engaged in Washington. What particular section of Florida real estate Congressman West represents, is of little consequence since he works for all Americans. Flexibility will lead to success, we cannot get “bogged-down” in a “land-battle” ie. “redistricting.”
One must wonder what kind of intellectual light weight would even think to call Congressman West a coward?? The new Districts would’ve made Cong. West’s defeat a little closer to certainty, which is what the Dems want. Allen West seems to be their #1 target!
The Republicans won the majority in the Florida House & Senate (even with the lines drawn in many areas to favor Democrats), but somehow the Dems think they should be able to draw the lines so that they will be able to win the majority. And make no mistake, this is NOT a racial issue other than that they have snowed minorities into thinking that the Democrat Party is good for them. The only thing these minorities mean to the Dems is a means by which they can continue to get their votes by continuing to deceive them. It is so sad.
This is why the League of women Voters has filed a law suit. They claim to be non-partisan, but every issue they support is right down Democrat lines! Everyone who has ever come up against this (ever so honored by the liberal media) organization knows that they are as partisan as they come. They just use “non-partisan” to further deceive people.
Sandi, it is not just the Dems that are afraid of Allen West! The Republicans have the majority and can draw the districts any way they want, and they DON’T want a true PATRIOT coming in and messing up their ‘good ol boy’ network that has served them so well for so many years, and helped them AND the Dems bring this State and Nation to its knees!!
He should just get it over with and run for President. There is talk of a brokered convention, what a hoot if they just threw out the current slate of damaged candidates and voted for someone like West!! A pipe dream, I know, but it makes me feel good to Dream!
You folks all gush over what the good Mr. West says, but what has he DONE for middle Americans.
What bills has he proposed that will help out the dwindling middle class?
What has he done to end illegal immigration and deport the illegal immigrants?
What has he done to end the trade imbalances and bring high paying manufacturing jobs back home to the USA?
Talk is cheap, let’s see his actions!!
For that matter, can you name any Florida Representative who has distinguished himself/herself in the time Rep. West has been serving?
What do we need more at this point in time? More bills and regulations, or a clean-up of the House and ejection of the RINOS who haven’t seen a Democrat bill they didn’t like?

I’ll tell you this, Col West is not someone I’m going to be shit talking to.
If Congressman West was half the man I thought he was, he would run for president NOW, campaigning on ridding the country of the illegal, ineligible usurper currently soiling the People’s House.

Why is Congressman West a coward?
The main objective is that Congressman West continues to represent the voter in Washington. A technical “redistricting” shouldn’t destroy the chances of running where electable. Remember, even Alinsky said “the ends justifies the means.” In this case, running for office in a district where victory can be achieved fulfills the objective, which is to serve and represent American Citizens. This is not cowardice, this represents flexibility and the need to adjust strategies for constantly changing events. That is an example of proactive leadership, and we need more of that in D.C.
Congressman West knew he would be criticized for moving, yet he BRAVELY made the decision that would best allow him to follow his conscience and ideals. He is no coward.
Will Patrick Murphy run in the 22nd? He could switch parties again and run here. If not, who is the coward? Come here to the 22nd, Mr. Murphy. We will set you straight.
I would follow Col. West in combat, and would volunteer to support, and campaign for him in any office, he chooses to seek. Melvin, you call someone who has served this country well, a coward. Come down to a VA Hospital, or Health Care Facility, where I am a patient, and open your big mouth there!
Love it when true Vets sound off. Lots of people are liking what West has to say and how he says it.. I want his leadership in congress to mature, before he is plunged into a really higher office, perhaps he could oust the speaker and get that job…or run for senate and help oust Reid and company.. whatever, he is one to watch and he sure is a patriot.

Col. West is a true American Patriot. I hope he stays in politics as long as he can at what ever office he desires. I will vote for him and continue to support him.
Now that I have had my ROTFLOL for the day… Get serious, West is prime for any job he wants, but has the right stuff to plan his attacks. More to the point, he will win anything he puts his mind to and that alone makes him one to watch and help. As an AZ resident, I wonder why I get so much donate mail for him? Sure would help if I could, but SS does not stretch that far.
It is apparent from the commenters, that he has a large following on this site. Always a few libs and dummereee types to contend with. Glad there are some, as Rush used to say, keep at least one, to know what we got rid of…or such.
These fights are not over till we the people purge the congress of all the libs and term limit them that are left. Stop all pensions to the elected officials and that will help. Make congress live on SS and medicare and bring their staffers from their home states. Another real plus. Make the political backstabers more or less stopped. You can not get them all, they will always find a way to screw the People. We the People must be strong and wise to them. Words are just words, action speaks volumns.

Allen West is NO coward and is in fact a true American Hero. I am proud to have supported him both as a Military Officer when he faced charges stemming from Iraq and as a freshman TEA Party Congressman. Allen West IS what America needs more of…
Allen West would make a fine VP running mate for our GOP nominee this coming November.

I’d be willing to bet Murphy doesn’t have the courage to state that face-to-face with Col. West.
I think Rep. West should challenge Murphy to a duel, Murphy’s choice of weapon.
It would be terrific if the (in my mind, un-Constitutional) ban on dueling were challenged in the public mind, and then in the courts. There are plenty of other types of contracts which are legal and which, in their performance, may result in the death or injury of one or more of the parties. Why is dueling illegal?
If duelling were revived, it would result in the immediate exit of so many of the worst scum from electoral politics, for they are the cowards, hiding behind the skirts of the almighty state whilst wreaking havoc on us.
It seems to me that Murphy is the proverbial “pot calling the kettle black.” Here’s a guy who, himself, is seeking a slam-dunk election situation! Imagine, in this day and age, with the Democrats being practically arch-criminals, being led by Chicago arch-criminals, and he jumped from Republican to Democrat! What are we discussing here, a Mr. Murphy with deep, honorable, political scruples?
I suggest that he is THE opportunistic corrupted politician, not Rep. West.
There is no doubt that West’s star shines too brightly for the Democrats to stomach. He’s a target of importance because he is a brave, incorruptable, representative of the people. It’s no wonder that he’s been consistently attacked by the feckless Debbie W.Schultz.
Now, Murphy follows-up to the Schultz attacks, because they find life very difficult as long as Allen West is keeping tabs on them.
When the Democrats fear a Republican as much as they fear Allen West,the nation has an excellent representative in the US Congress!
For any American to ask government to DO anything for the individual is where the problem lies. Government sets the rules and gives us the tools to have the freedom to better ourselves, but as we have seen for the last 50 years, the future has been compromised by too much re-distribution(taxes) of other peoples resources and too many restrictions that has almost crippled our country. The 2012 election will be the decision on which direction our country takes and it is my belief that this administration believes collectivism as the solution and not how our founding documents intended as Lt. Col. Allen West believes. He is the only one that is adament on saving the Constitution from these “thugs” who are occupying the Senate and the White House. Keep focus on the prize…Republican sweep in 2012.
