During his monthly townhall meeting in Broward County, freshman Congressman Allen West was asked if he was going to endorse in the 2012 Republican presidential primary race. Congressman West stated that he would “not” endorse in the primary but did say that he would do whatever he could to support the eventual Republican nominee. West also disclosed that a two of the current candidates in the race have reached out to him for help and have asked him if he would go on TV and try to ‘help’ them get out of some of the “boneheaded” things that they have said. West did not mention Speaker Newt Gingrich by name, but he did drop an obvious hint as to who reached out to him. Gingrich has famously referred to President Barack Obama as the “Food Stamps President.”

ALRIGHT! Any GOP candidate would be wise to choose West for a running mate. Many of West’s supporters have been begging him to run for POTUS and if not now, then they’ll be more than happy to have him for VP in the meantime. And if West is on the ticket as VP, it won’t just bring the nominee more votes but A WHOLE LOTTA more votes! And THAT would absolutely devastate Obama! Heh heh..Biden would faint at the very thought of having to debate West..
Congressman West needs to endorse a primary candidate at least from the stand point of who he feels is a blip better than the others. Since none of the candidates are outstanding (pun intended) who measures up to the integrity that Allen West himself would expel? I feel that we are back in the Vietnam war where we are trying to chose the “best of worst” to support… Vets for Allen West!!!
Outstanding Col. West!! You, sir, should be POTUS. If America would only wake up.
