The pure ignorance and vile among our citizenry is appaling. We are witinessing the modern day lynch mobs and their minions the media and press, work up the bigoted and the stupid to take an action of violence before the issues have all been gleaned. Very few have most the answers that are available, and they are not talking as they secure more information on this event. But many with hate and glee in the heart, are stoking the flames to spread hate.

I wish some political figure with any bal-s to take on Revs Jackson and Sharpton, who are both in the race extortion business, would remind people of the Duke Lacrosse team issue as well as the Tawana Brawley issue as well as Jackson’s remarks about “hymie town” in referring to where Jews live in New York.

They are both hypocritical BASTARDS who are ONLY interested in lining their pockets with :race baiting” dollars that come their way. If they didn’t lie and work up the crowd to prove their value, they would both be broke. Total shame on the media for giving either one of them any credibility.

Senator Rubio, Thank you for your leadership and wisdom.

    Good response-from rubio.
tragic but banging someone’s head on pavement can lead to lethal reaction. One would think it could be manslaughter but depends- the stand your ground law does give cover as does the regret of the shooter. If differs greatly from the case where a intruder was chased and killed.

What i find totally unacceptable is the black community reaction
the black panther bounty, the cnn interview with a black female celebrity was interviewed and responded that “they are killing us”.
the statistics prove without doubt the black community are victims of a violent culture that is mostly black on black. Frankly I find the black community much more balanced in other countries, including Afica where I see less reverse discrimination. I believe I am blind to color, but what fears me is that the african american is not- they need to wise us to this contradiction. I dont blame the family they are right to be upset, to grieve and seek justice

I agree we are rushing to judgement. Let the courts determine Zimmerman’s guilt or innocence. It is easy to pick a side and call the other side names, it is another to address the issues and resolve them. Check out this article in the NY Times about how the sides are Playing the Violence card. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/06/opinion/playing-the-violence-card.html?_r=2&ref=opinion

  6. Michael says:

We have all heard a variety of things pertaining to the Treyvon cace. What you believe to be true is a matter of opinion. I choose to believe:
    1. The guy screaming for help is Treyvon. Where I am from, the guy with the gun never needs help.
    2. I believe Zimmerman lied about being atteacked. The video of him walking in the PD showed no injuries, no blood, and no emotion.
    3. I believe Zimmerman was told not follow Treyvon, and did so anyway in hopes of starting something with a defenseless child.
    4. I also believe that until we as Americans decide to provide justice to all, the priveledged will have a sense of entitlement that enables them to do whatever they want to the underclass………and get away with it. This is very visible case, however there are cases of injustice everyday. The legal system only serves those that can afford justice. If you feel differently, the facts speaks for itself. But you probably could care less about the truth anyway.

      Thank you, agree.

    • RedBaker says:

It is clear that the liberal mob has rushed to judgment.

      1. We have no clear evidence who was screaming. But it is pretty clear who was getting beaten up – Zimmerman.
      2. You missed the many photos of injuries to Zimmerman’s head – front, back and sides. You missed the broken nose. This was plainly a one sided fight.
      3. Zimmerman was no longer following, he was near his parked vehicle, waiting for police. He knew police were seconds away, and he was correct. It is odd to believe Zimmerman summoned the police, and then murdered someone.
      4. Justice only for the privileged? Getting away with it? Your view of the US is paranoid. Your judgment tainted by politics.

LOL are we echoing each other? BTW…if you take a look at Neighborhood Watch’s own documents (which Zimmerman wasn’t acting in any capacity of that night) Zimmerman followed their instructions to the letter. Even our own mendacious Janet Napolitano has admonished us to ‘if you see something, say something’. If Zimmerman was out looking for someone to kill that night, why did he call 911 and have the police enroute. Killers don’t do that. They just kill and get away from the scene.

    • Catblaster says:

      1) various parties have said the voice was either Trayvon or George. The voice analysis was inconclusive so it depends on who you believe–the parents of either person. Important to note that initially Tracy Martin said it wasn’t his son and an eye witness, ‘John’ said it was the guy getting beat up—that would be Zimmerman.
      2) The initial video from the police station was taken with an iphone and spirited out. The PD released the actual footage a few days later (they had to) which clearly showed wounds on Zimmermans head. Add to that phone pics taken right after police arrived but before paramedics had wiped the blood and you can clearly see injuries. Remember also that the initial video posting on ABC had the crawl covering Zimmerman’s head—you couldn’t see squat anyway.
      3) there is no evidence…zero…Zimmerman followed Trayvon. If he had, the scene of the altercation would have taken place closer to Green’s apartment. As it was, the location was well away from the apartment and closer to Zimmerman’s truck. Martin could have easily gotten to the apartment from the entrance near the clubhouse without ever encountering Zimmerman. It certainly appears it was Martin who initiated the confrontation.
      4) The only real injustice in this case is a man and his entire family are being persecuted because a) a prosecutor is in a tough re-election fight and has taken heat for how she’s handled cases involving minorities in her home district and greed on the part of Martin and Fuller. This case was never about justice. If the races were any different we wouldn’t be having this conversation. What this case IS about from the standpoint of the Martin lawyers is money. That’s why they only wanted an arrest. If you truly believed your son had been murdered, not killed, you’d want a conviction of the bastard that did it. Not a mere arrest. The arrest, which they all craved, opened the door for civil suits under Florida law. There’s your injustice in a nutshell. I hope that once all the facts come out, that the Zimmerman’s will file civil suits against all parties–the media, Roseanne Barr, Spike Lee, Crump, Parks, Julison, and even Martin and Fuller because even though their lawyers are steering, they have their feet on the gas as well. You will see once the facts come out how you have been manipulated and lied to about this entire case.

  7. Lucas says:

Rush to judgement?? Another black teen gunned down for no reason.
A Black teen chased down, called a “coon” by a weak, volunteer want to be cop. No charges filed?? Rush to judgement?? White America fear the black man. If Zimmerman is not prosecuted and tried for his crimes. Sanford will burn……

    • Catblaster says:

Are you joking or are you nuts? If you’re serious why haven’t you been paying attention to the discovery document releases? Completely contradicts everything you’ve typed.

  8. Blackface says:

All us brothas and sistas needs to rise up against zese whities what guns us down on da streets. Zimmerman nees ta pay… Turn em ova and les get justice done. Word on da streets is he will neva make it to da trial.

  9. Blackface says:

It is that type of attitude, hate and anger that tears us apart. Mistakes happen and judgements should be dealt, but by the courts. Jessie and Al need to stick to their churches and preach tolerance, forgiveness and turning the other cheek. If they are truely Christians they should know how our Lord wants us to behave in these situations. Lead your people down the “narrow path” boys.

  10. T says:

We should change the name from Stand Your Ground to The Zimmerman Law. It was written for situations like this. It is disheartening and silly that our State leaders lack the intestinal fortitude to tell Sharpton to take a hike.

    Here’s his scorecard:

    Brawley: 0-1
    Duke: 0-1

    I vote with my wallet.

  11. Honesty says:

It is a intolerable that across this country men, women, children, and police officers are the victims of violence speciifcally with guns and very few leaders of any community are doing anything about it. Recently in NYC, 4 Police Officers were shot trying to save a mother and infant from her boyfiend who had a cache of weapons and ammunition. If the issue is really guns and violence….and not race and political gains…where are all of are leaders! All of Leaders including President Obama, Governor Cuomo, Angela Corey, Mayor Bloomberg, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson! Oops, one of those leaders did stand up…Mayor Bloomberg, who I do not side on every issue but on this one, I do!

  12. S. Klein says:

Maybe he is right. But why did Senator Rubio rush to judge Congresswoman Michele Bachmann?

  13. Mike Hathaway says:

I hope that when Zimmerman is acquitted, he will aggressively sue all of the people who have slandered him for their own gain – political and otherwise. Our District 17 Congressbimbo with the hat fetish should be at the top of the list!!!

  14. LV says:

If someone ran up to me as I was walking away from a verbal confrontation, jumped me
from behind & then proceeded to break my nose & bash my head into the ground then I, like Zimmerman, would certainly have feared for my life. You can bet I would have used deadly force to save myself. If you say you wouldn’t then you’re a liar.

  15. Craig A Kasparek says:

Thank you Sen. Rubio! In these days of instant “coverage”, theory, and commentary, it’s soon followed by prognostications that, however flawed or erroneous, are interpreted as fact. Let’s hold off and let our legal system proceed. Just the facts, the evidence, and a jury of peers.
