During a recent trip to the nations capitol, the Shark Tank ran into Conservative Republican Senatorial candidate Sarah Steelman at the famed Capitol Hill Club. Steelman is a ‘Tea Party’ favorite, who is running in a contested primary race-the winner would face off with Missouri’s Liberal Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill in November.
Steelman is the clear favorite in the primary race, and recent polling have her leading Senator McCaskill by double-digits. Steelman has also garned the endorsement of U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), and from both She PAC and the Tea Party Express.
In our sit down interview, Steelman expresses her thoughts on the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the Arizona Immigration Law, saying that she “was glad that the Supreme court ruled that way.”
Steelman also shared her thoughts on her opponent, Senator McCaskill by echoing the know train of thought that McCaskill is a “rubber stamp” for Obama’s failed agenda. Steelman rattles off some of McCaskill’s controversial votes in the Senate, and then states that the Senator is “really trouble in Missouri, and she is very vulnerable.”
Let me point out that McCaskill will not be attending her Democratic National Committee convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, later this summer.
