During his speech at the Miami-Dade Lincoln Day dinner in Miami Congressman Allen West served up some extra helpings of criticism directed towards the mainstream media. It was odd to see Allen read from a script as he usually speaks off-the-cuff, but I knew that it was a only matter of time before he scrapped the script.
The Liberal-Progressives don’t like the people of South Florida, because for so long, they dominated the politics in South Florida. And now all of a sudden, you have rising conservative voices. In Miami-Dade County, in Broward County, in Palm Beach County, in Martin County, in St. Lucie County, they are absolutely going nuts and crazy at the Sun-Sentinel, and the Miami-Herald, and the Palm Beach Post, because normally you would shut up, but now you are not shutting up anymore.-Congressman Allen West

Allen West explained his vote for pigford in the following video. Then again you should know this right? He was a big enough man to admit the mistake.

While you’re trivializing Rep. West,his voting record may not be 100%, he has offered explanation and called a recent vote a mistake, but by and large he’s still a bright Republican star on the horizon.
This man’s willing to “own up,” make amends, be responsible for his actions. That indicates good character to me, something I’ve found seriously lacking in leftists.
Liberal media = the enemy within.
All too true .. especially now that we are learning that (reported by CBS) Roberts caved to the Obama and MSM threats. Obamacare = OBAMATAX … thanks to Roberts .. that is what we are left with … to REPEAL!
Instead of saying that the media is “so liberal”. Perhaps people are getting “so conservative” that the media can’t meet their ideological demands. The media’s job is to report the news, not make it.

McCarthyism, the chasing down of the phantom “communists” in the government, arts, etc., was exposed as the paranoid rantings of a nut in the 50′s and so shall it be again now.
It’s time for Mr. West, and all the republicans in general, to tell us exactly what they will do to make life better for you and I, hard working middle class American voters.
It’s not enough to constantly tell us what they’re against, it’s time for them to tell us what they’re for.
Willard tells us that he can’t wait to return to the failed Bush regime economic policies.
Does that mean those who support Willard wouldn’t mind having to bail out the banks again if indeed banking regulations don’t get properly enforced again?

McCarthy was prescient. He was vindicated by the Venona papers. Our government was and is infested with communists. Allen West was correct in his assessment of 80+ communists in the House – they are the members of the Progressive Caucus (all of which the CPUSA endorses).
Your ignorance of and/or rewriting of history don’t change the facts.
You say it’s not enough for Romney to say what he’s against. Is it enough for you to hear from Hussein that he’ll give us more of the same? Are you happy with the “new normal”? If so, may your chains rest lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen, Dick.
