Harrington Smacks Down Wasserman Schultz on Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day

August 1, 2012

By Javier Manjarres

Heeding the call from former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee to make August 1st ‘Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day,’ thousands of Americans have visited their nearest Chick-Fil-A restaurant to lend the chain support after some elected officials have called for a ban of the restaurant after company president Dan Cathy expressed his opposition to same sex marriage.

Cathy made has been at the center of the controversy after stating,”I think that we are inviting  God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage.”

Congressman Allen West has recently lent his support for the restaurant chain, telling us that ” I love me some Chick-Fil-A.” (Video)

True to form, Democrat National Committee Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said that she was going to keep her kids from eating at the popular eatery.

Wasserman Schultz’s likely general election congressional opponent, Republican Karen Harrington is  supporting of Chick-Fil-A.

Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s advocating for the boycott of Chick-Fil-A, puts American jobs at risk in a shameless attempt to score political points. The Congresswoman is trying to deflect attention away from her support of President Obama’s failed economic policy, and the lack of job creation, by using a First Amendment issue to do so.-Karen Harrington

Best “political porn” shot since Michele Bachmann about to bite into a corndog at the Iowa state fair during the POTUS primaries. ;>)

    • Jeff says:

Great picture of Karen. However the guy jerking off in the background spoils it for me. Perhaps you can get a picture of Karen taking a lick off of a Chick-fil-a shake with whipped cream on top. I didn’t go to Chick-fil-a today because of the long lines. I’ll wait until this weekend and go on Sunday.

  3. arnonerik says:

Those two toilet mouths and minds just have to be Lefties. Anybody want to bet?

  4. tinkerthinker says:

No, I bet they are too. There is that hatefulness that you see with them all.

    • Rich says:

After all the hatespeak I read on here directed towards Ms. Wasserman-Schultz and the President, you folks have a lot of nerve to talk about “hatefullness of the left”.
      What a bunch of hypocrites.

      • Alan says:

        “Hatespeak”? Such as?

That’s a rhetorical question. I can match ANYTHING you come up with with 10 Wasserman quips. The left is hateful and until now, with your post, I didn’t think any of them gave a crap who knew it either.

        Who you calling hypocrite? Please.

  5. samantha says:

Juan Eliel Garcia was also present at his local Chick- Fil- A to show his support for the freedom of speech and traditional marriage.

Let’s get DWS out of office!!!!

VOTE JUAN ELIEL GARCIA FOR CONGRESS FOR DISTRICT 23!!!!!

  6. Liz says:

By now you all should have done your home work and should be getting ready to vote for Karen Harrington.
A vote for anyone else is a vote for Debbie Wasserman.

  7. Boobie the Rocket Dog says:

And THEY call US the “haters.”

    • Alan says:

“And THEY call US the “haters.””

Uhhh… yes. What’s your point? Hey, tell us another Bristol Palin joke. They’re just oh so humorous. I still haven’t stopped laughing at “Trig is a REEEtard”.

      Yeah – haters.

  8. tammy says:

If she gets her way, Deborah Schulz will only allow the rest of us to eat cake anyway…….

  9. Nogo says:

Did my homework. Not Karen. And so what. Lots of us go to chik fil a routinely. Great people there always, not just August 1st.

  10. Jimmy Hemminger says:

I see long lines of support for Chick-fil-A and happy we who christians agree and stand by the restaurant no matter what liberal mayors of boston or chicago say. Ther can do business in any state they want, America still free country, freedom of speech is what military veterans died fighting for.

  11. VickieLee says:

Don’t be blind….the REAL issue at hand is does ANY government have the right to tell a business they aren’t welcome just because they don’t embrace the same beliefs as the mayor? I don’t drink soda but I don’t want anyone telling me what size I can buy! (Mayor Bloomberg is now attempting to FORCE breastfeeding.) Both sides of the aisle should wake up, smell the coffee, put on your big-boy (or girl) britches and be responsible for your own life! Tell ALL governments to focus on their jobs as described by federal, state, & local laws and WHEN they get EVERYTHING running smoothly let you know!

  12. Lucy Guzman says:

Jeff, you don’t recognize that guy in the back of that picture?

  13. Mike Hathaway says:

You can always count on liberals to slip in a dose of vulgarity – mostly because that’s all they’ve got.

The good news is that now we all know that Chick-fil-A without fear of running into DWS!!!

  14. Craig A Kasparek says:

Has anyone considered all this fuss, vitriol, polarization just might be a part of a calculated attention getting campaign conjured up by the CEO of this restaurant. Everyone’s certainly entitled to his or her opinion…and that’s just as it should be, but things have gotten way out of hand and blown out of proportion. Certainly a novel way to benefit from a host of “free advertising”…kudos to their advertising department. In the meantime, if you like their restaurant, continue to do so. Let’s just keep politics and public opinion out of the food chain.

    • tim says:

Actually, Mr. Cathy’s comments went unnoticed until liberal mayors decided to speak out and attempt to ban CFA in their towns. The BUYcott came about as a response to a Mike Huckabee Facebook post to start a CFA appreciation day.

Lovers of free speech and free practice of religion did the rest.

      So…your point is irrelevant

  15. Bill says:

Call, write or e-mail Wendy’s corporate headquarters and tell them you will not support them and will get you fastfood elsewhere.

  16. Great Chicken says:

Chick-fil-A has great fast food. Its president has the right to express his views.

Just watch this company take off after Mayor Doomberg and his polarizing pal, Mayor Tom Menino of Boston, stupidly tried to rid all of us of our First Amendment rights. Of course, the ballet dancer, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, followed suit.

All three mayors should be voted out in a perfect trifecta.

  17. Sorry about “blasting Debbie Dumb”, but its hard not to………………she is simply a “nasty bum” and has been since the day she entered politics. This comes from observing her up close for years. Ask any staff person in Tallahassee and Washington about her…………..they hate her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! “Debbie Dumb” is for “Debbie Dumb” PERIOD!!!!!! She uses all the other LIBS to get what “she wants”. HOW DID DEBBIE END UP WITH A “VACATION HOME” AND “FOREIGN INVESTMENTS” AFTER SUCH A SHORT TIME IN WASHINGTON WHEN SHE HAD “NOTHING” WHEN SHE WENT TO WASHINGTON?….IS IT NOT “OBVIOUS”??…THIS WOULD BE INTERTESTING FOR A U.S. ATTORNEY TO LOOK AT.
