Democrat Congresswoman Frederica Wilson is best known for wearing her outlandish cowboy hats both inside and outside the halls of Congress. Serving in her heavily Democratic congressional district affords Wilson great liberty to make some of the most truly outrageous comments without ever being held accountable, as she did during the Trayvon Martin case. Wilson is also known for delivering some pretty rambling screeds from the floor of the House of Representatives, and as you’re about to see, we’ve found one which contains some ludicrous remarks and assertions that might have otherwise disappeared down the rabbit hole.
In her two minute speech given last August, Wilson unleashed a litany of complaints while childishly promulgating the phony “War on Women” meme as she berated Republicans for allegedly attempting to “regulate” her reproductive organs-
Mr. Speaker, Obama cares, and you should too. Obamacare provides access to much needed contraceptives for women. First of all, it’s my body not yours, I alone bare the burden, pain and joy that it brings. Please stop trying to regulate my reproductive organs, they belong to me. Have you ever had a menstrual period, have you ever felt unbearable pain in every bone of your body during child birth? Will you be there for a mother when she needs prenatal care, formula, diapers?
Will you perform foster care and stop greasing the prison pipeline with unwanted children? There are grandmothers living in trailer parks and public housing, single-handedly raising millions of grandchildren. Where are you when grandmother is trying to feed Jerome, Shaquita, Pedro, Heather and John? The only time I see you is on the floor on the House trying to take away grandma’s Social Security and attacking her Medicare and food stamps.” – Congresswoman Frederica Wilson
Wilson then inexplicably claimed that those same grandmas who are raising “millions of grandchildren” also “doesn’t have a car, so she has no ID, so she can’t vote,” she presumably means that all of these grandmothers who happen to be raising all those grandchildren and are getting some form of government assistance also don’t have any identification, therefore making them all victims of so called “voter suppression.”
There’s only so much sunlight in the day in which to rebut such profound foolishness. However, there is one other interesting thing that’s noteworthy about her speech- if you take Wilson’s words at face value, she unknowingly contradicts Democrat-party approved talking points about abortion. Wilson wrapped up her rant by telling Republicans that “for some reason you care about “a baby” right until the minute it is born, and then you disappear and desert the children you claim to protect and love.” Little does Wilson realize that it’s a no-no among pro-choicers to refer to any among the unborn as a “baby” rather than a “fetus” or a “clump of tissue.”
It’s two minutes of epic stupidity from the floor of the House- don’t deprive yourself the pleasure.

Has anyone asked her where the mother is in the equation?? Also, as a 30 yr old woman, I do not want post-menopausal elderly women arguing over MY body and MY baby. When the DNC had their abortion-fest, the only female of child bearing age (presumably female at least but I have my doubts) was Sandra Slut…..the rest are senior citizens that have been unable to give birth to a baby since the Carter administration!! Coincidentally, the youngest voter group of women (18-30) is also the most pro-life and has seen those numbers increase from 24% in 1990 to 36% in 2000 and steadily increasing!! So it is time that grandma there stop speaking for me because my peers and myself are far more informed about our own damn bodies and BABIES!!
You go, Becca! Well stated. Had I been there during her speach, my first comments would’ve been. I agree it is your body and your choice. It is my money and my choice NOT to have to pay for your actions weather I agree with you or not! Pay your own way, loser!
Also, I am sure she is a big supporter of Planned Parenthood and I would’ve reminder her that they were originally set up to eradicate and/or control the black population. Since their inception, millions upon millions of inocent black babies have been killed by them! How on earth can an idiot like her (and many others) not realize that?!
The even worse part is how idiots like her gets elected. There must be alot of stupid people in her district.
I think if someone supports abortion that’s fine. When it’s their body that’s being torn apart and dumped in the can they can do as they please. And I don’t know when women having babies they can’t afford to raze became the business of the tax payer. Maybe the State should provide bungee cords for women to wrap around their knees so they will stop getting pregnant so often.

Democrat Congresswoman Frederica Wilson is another reason why we need a litercy test before allowing anyone to vote. She spews unbelievable ignorance that would be reasonable only to the ignorant or uninformed. Her courage to utter her outlandish views easily exceeds her intelligence.
I can’t figure out how someone like her gets elected! I guess there are alot of REALLY STUPID people out there that truly needs the government telling them how to live their lives. In her case, I support killing the unborn of all people that supports this stupidity. Oh I forgot we have a program that does just that; Planned Parenthood. Never mind.
What Rep. Frederica Wilson lacks in intelligence, she makes up for in stupidity. Shouldn’t Congressmen pass an intelligence test before being able to run for elective office? Rep. You right it is your body and if you want to use it for pleasure or recreation you should be made to pay for the equipment and things you need in order to experience these pleasures and recreation. If you are allowed money for your recreation and pleasures than all women should be allowed the same. I bowl, Santa Odumbo should be made to pay for all of my bowling equipment. I have a cousin who is into target shooting. Then Santa Odumbo should have to pay for all of her gun equipment so that she can continue this pleasure and recreation in her life. People like this get elected because someone takes a computer and brings up a map where all of the addresses that get a welfare check have a red dot put on them.
