Obama and his administration kept to their Democrat Party talking points when blaming Republicans for the shrinking U.S. economy. The recent report from the Commerce Department stated that the economy shrank in the last quarter of 2012, which is a slap in the face to Obama, after he has been saying that the economy was recovering.
One of Obama’s harshest critics in the U.S. Senate, Senator Marco Rubio slammed the President by stating that “the President and his allies need to give up their obsession with raising taxes” and have a ‘come to Jesus moment,’ by joining ”Republicans in pursuing real economic growth policies through tax, regulatory and energy reform.
“While Washington spent the end of 2012 focused on avoiding a ‘fiscal cliff’ disaster of its own making, the real disaster was happening in the real world of President Obama’s economy. The gross domestic product is not just a number for economists to care about. It tells us President Obama’s policies are failing miserably and that we need a fundamental shift towards policies that will truly get our economy growing. The President and his allies need to give up their obsession with raising taxes and join Republicans in pursuing real economic growth policies through tax, regulatory and energy reform.”-Senator Marco Rubio

Sorry, Rubio, since you dusted off the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill and put it back on the table, I no longer value your opinion.
Also, instead of playing the “Blame Game”, why not talk about how to fix it????
Finger pointing is not polite.
Those of you who say no amnesty no matter how it is presented are adding to the problem. Walker – you are so critical -what’s your fix it solution? Deport 11 million people? Arrest them all?
Come on and get real. Lets secure the borders. First. Then a worker program where an employer adopts
an employee, and, as in years past, Americans help people get on their feet. Those who have criminal records will leave, those who actually want to stay and make a difference in their community and for their family will jump through the hoops required to become citizens – the way Rubio has it laid out, it’s not easy. If they fail, they leave. The US made a mistake by opening it up without proper documentation and border security, so the damage is done. Lets start fresh. Do you volunteer with the GOP? If not, you should work toward their cause of prosperity and freedom-and a focus on opportunity and jobs….. So many people LOVE to criticize, but actually don’t lift a finger, just gripe.
