Have you ever gone to a shooting range and picked out a target printed in the silhouette of a human being? Answer is, yes. This past weekend a few friends and I decided squeeze off some rounds at a local gun range in Pompano Beach, Florida. Upon arriving at the rage, I couldn’t help but notice that one of the targets the range was using, was that of a Terrorist armed with a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG), and wearing the traditional terrorist garb.
What is the big deal? The Terrorist’s skin was painted blue. Any part of the image that displayed the terrorist’s skin was painted in blue. God forbid that we shoot at an image of a person who’s skin is darker, like an actual black person or from Middle Eastern decent than the paper the image is printed on.
Is the gun lobby being too politically correct here?
Here are the targets in question, and one of the targets I shot at with my Mossberg 500 Tactical Shotgun. Just an FYI, I shot at this target using slugs, at a range of 35 feet.
